LaGrange praising the 22% who voted by a margin of 76% to accept the contract. So about 15-16% voted in favour. Nothing to brag about there.
A new chapter for Alberta’s physicians, patients and health care system. This agreement provides fair, nationally competitive compensation for physicians while ensuring long-term sustainability for Alberta’s health care system. Thank you to the Alberta Medical Association and its members for their leadership, collaboration and hard work throughout this process. Together, we can continue strengthening physician services and delivering the high-quality care Albertans deserve.

Somebody needs to tell the separatist public that Rath is a lawyer, trained in convincing people that the side of an issue he represents is the correct one, whether it is or not. A tactic called Firehosing is one tactic used. Look it up.
Someone needs to tell our Catholic Bishops the following : With billions more dollars staying in Alberta please think about how much better off EVERYONE IN ALBERTA WOULD BE. Christians need to listen to Christ and vote for option 2 “ANYONE WHO DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR THEIR RELATIVES, AND ESPECIALLY THEIR OWN HOUSEHOLD HAS DENIED THE FAITH AND IS WORSE THAN AN UNBELIEVER.” 1 Timothy 5:8 Christ would want Alberta to be Independent and take care of our own people.

Get back to us when registered changes to practicing. Also when the ratio of drs/1000 population goes up.
Today, Alberta doctors voted 76% in favour of our new agreement, showing overwhelming support for what we can accomplish when we work together. More doctors are choosing Alberta than ever before, and we’re keeping that momentum going. In fact, since our government formed in 2019 over 3,180 net doctors have registered in Alberta, bringing the total to 14,661. We’re building a province where physicians want to practise, build their careers and put down roots, and where Albertans can get the care they need, when and where they need it. This new agreement with the Alberta Medical Association is another important step toward that future.

Exactly. I’ve done it just for fun. Easy peasy.
This could have been a Google search, Adriana. We all know that there's isn't a snowball's chance in hell that you would adopt a "Swedish Model," where they have double the physicians per capita, and fund programs with higher taxes on wealthy businesses and people. #ableg

Every discussion about surgical waitlists eventually comes back to one question: Why don't we just do more surgeries? It’s doable! Every surgical system needs three basic ingredients: skilled humans, operating rooms, and funding – a long term plan and accountability are important too. If any one of those is missing, waitlists grow. Learn more at bradenmanns.substack.com #CanadianHealthcare #WaitTimes #Surgery #HealthPolicy #HealthcareReform #Medicare

🚨🚨🚨This is huge!!! 🚨🚨🚨 Fantastic news for the Canadian economy!! Between phases one and two, this is the single largest investment in Canadian economic history. And that doesn’t even account for the tens of $ billions in gas exports, plus upstream production jobs. Plus more demand for Canadian (including Alberta) gas will mean finally getting a higher price for our energy. Win-win-win
Woke up to the great news of the LNG Canada Phase 2 FID. 🇨🇦 $33 billion private investment from the same partners as Phase 1 (ie no one wanted to withdraw): Shell, KOGAS (Korea), Petronas (Malaysia); Mitsubishi (Japan) and PetroChina 🇨🇦 LNG Canada will double from 14 to 28 Mtpa. At full build-out, it is expected to be the second-largest LNG facility in the world. 🇨🇦 Canada shipped its first large-scale LNG cargo only last year. By the early 2030s, we will be a top-five global LNG exporter (+Cedar, Woodfibre and hopefully Ksi Lisims). 🇨🇦 4000 jobs for the LNG terminal in Kitimat, 2100 on the CGL pipeline expansions 🇨🇦 $1 billion Indigenous equity option on the LNG storage tank

The seppies, running around on the tip of the separation iceberg. When you and I know that 90% of that iceberg can’t be seen. Same with separation, so much shit is below the level of their disclosure it would take yrs and billions to sort it out.
AS PREDICTED … Carney’s stupid plan to join the EU will end the USMCA because President Trump will simply say that if Canada wants to join the EU - Canada can have whatever trade conditions are agreed to or imposed on Brussels. Alberta needs to vote itself out of Canada/Laurentia on October 19th. nationalpost.com/news/trump-…

Option 1: Alberta should remain a province in Canada. Option 2: YOLO so why not hand the future of our country over to the convoy crowd because they want leverage to negotiate against a bunch of imaginary plots and schemes.

Each of the questions is very open to interpretation if passed. And we know this gov’ts record in that direction.
I've thought them all through. 10 questions: one real choice. Division + grievance vs unity + governance. No to the nine. Remain. drjaredwesley.substack.com/p…

Seniors, in particular, have spent their life paying taxes for healthcare in the belief it would be there for them when it was needed. Now the GoA shamelessly backs out of the deal and wants to be "payor of last resort". What a bunch of charlatans.
Anyone vote for this? GoA becoming the health payer of last resort. Seniors will need to pay more, much more, for insurance. Because GoA no longer to pay for h/c.. Seniors see rise in private insurance Bill 11 rollout on Oct. 1, say industry experts msn.com/en-ca/money/economy/…

The problem is that Alberta’s gov’t has enabled gambling avenues to grow within Alberta rather put impediments in the way. Why? Well gov’t likes the $s in their coffers.
Gambling can ruin people’s lives and livelihoods. If you don’t gamble today, you absolutely should not start tomorrow. For Albertans who choose to gamble and are struggling, we have your back, and we’re making sure real help is there when you need it. edmontonjournal.com/news/loc…

Trump is criminally insane… totally unaware of anything in the real world (but his money). Such an embarrassment to the majority of citizens of this once terrific country !
This is simply vile. Trump is a loser, and an embarrassment to our country.

Smith at caucus meeting. “Shit is hitting the fan folks, time for a major deflection. What do we have?” Comms people pull a card from their deck of deflections. Smith: “Book me a flight to Nashville! Make sure to bill taxpayers.”
Calgary has the venues, the festivals, the songwriters and the audiences. Now it just needs a push to turn all of that into an even bigger industry. That is what I went to Nashville to learn about. They did not become the music capital of the world by accident. They built it deliberately over decades, and the people who run it were happy to tell me how. Calgary can be Nashville North. The talent is already here. Now let’s build it. Read full article here: calgarysun.com/news/local-ne…
