Except, some data centers are being powered by diesel power plants. I've not seen much discussion around fuel for compute vs other uses.

Funny how the Supreme Court is so obsessed with the President's ability to fire agency heads and so little with his oath of office to "faithfully execute" his role to implement laws passed by Congress.
"Under the Trump administration, the EPA has stopped estimating the public health benefits of reducing pollution in the cost-benefit analyses necessary for clean-air regulations. Instead, the agency has estimated only the costs to businesses of complying with the rules."
Translation: Public health benefits get zero weight in any cost-benefit analysis under the Trump administration. So long as the coal industry stands to profit from planet-warming pollution, then they have the right to pollute with impunity. This is your government on libertarianism.

BREAKING: Rep. Thomas Massie has introduced articles of impeachment against Pete Hegseth.
Massie alleges that Hegseth has waged the war against Iran illegally, among other "high crimes and misdemeanors."
He is also asserting that Hegseth initiated the conflict unlawfully, defied Congress' order to withdraw from the conflict, and incurred unnecessary civilian casualties.

A great reminder that you can reverse a lot of the debt problem by restoring taxes to pre-2025 levels.
If you voted for the Big Beautiful Bill, please donβt get on here and express righteous indignation that the debt is now $40 trillion. Anyone with a room temperature IQ knew that cutting taxes and increasing spending was going to balloon the deficit.

It's almost like this was done on purpose. A massive price increase these massive corporations can blame on someone else.
Walmart just received a $2.9 billion tariff refund, massively boosting the company's profits.
Regular people paid the costs of tariffs by and large across America.
But now corporations are getting huge checks from the government, while working people get nothing.

California utilities charging twice the national average want guaranteed profits on the wildfire costs their infrastructure caused. SB 905 would trim that. Utilities are, naturally, fighting it fiercely. @jeffstjohn @canarymedia
