In the next couple of months, we will have Dutch experts visit the South East to train our children in high-precision masonry, plumbing, welding, and carpentry. We will start with these core skills and gradually expand into other relevant areas. The first cohort will then pass on their training and knowledge to others as we scale the programme. This is the generation that will build our society.

Reversed ke This has always been his position Audit the process, gradual removal and redirect savings to Agriculture & Manufacturing
I like the fact that Mr Peter Obi has reversed his earlier position on Fuel subsidies. There is no ambiguity; he will bring back fuel subsidies. What's next for me now is his proposed subsidy model. Would it be a production subsidy (subsidise cost of crude oil to refiners) like the Atiku plan or a consumption subsidy like we had prior to 2023 where the PMS is subsidised? Whilst he has maintained that he will deal with the corruption and I believe him. However, I think that should be a given. The crux of this debate and what will separate his ideas from Atiku’s is to give Nigerians an insight to what his own framework will look like. I hope this is articulated in the coming days. I am very certain that Nigerians are ready to stand behind him. The recent SBM intelligence survey said over 60% of Nigerians that participated want Subsidies back. That is not a data point any serious candidate must ignore which was why I disagreed with his earlier position.

I saw The Economist post a paid propaganda 3x in the space of one week, hoping it could catch fire. Those of us with clout have avoided it. Dr. Reuben Abati tried to push it, but all his guests shut it down. I did not quote the article, the APC propaganda died a natural death.

Today, I was surrounded by cancer survivors, and the encounter was deeply moving. Their presence reminded me what is at stake in cancer care. Behind every statistic is a Nigerian whose survival should never depend on wealth or the ability to travel abroad. Cancer care should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Nigeria needs at least five fully equipped, specialised cancer centres in each of its six geopolitical zones, alongside stronger prevention, screening, early detection, research and affordable treatment. The goal is simple: no Nigerian should die because care is too far away, diagnosis came too late, or treatment is unaffordable. The survivors reminded me that behind every policy are human lives and the hope of a longer life. Healthcare is not a luxury. Survival should not depend on geography or income. Cancer care should not be a privilege. It should be a right. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

My Visit to the Nigerian Air Force Facility Further to my message yesterday, I visited the Nigerian Air Force facility in Abuja today to formally sign the condolence register following the unfortunate aircraft crash. The visit gave me another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made daily by the men and women of our Armed Forces and other security agencies in the line of duty. These courageous Nigerians put their lives on the line to defend our nation and protect our people. We must never take their service and sacrifice for granted. I extend my deepest condolences to the Nigerian Air Force and to the families, colleagues, and loved ones of those who lost their lives. May God grant eternal rest to the departed and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss. May God continue to protect all those who serve our country. -PO

It’s very poor taste to keep asking Peter Obi if he would step aside. Seeing Peter Obi’s popularity as a problem instead of a strength for the opposition, IS the problem! A problem hiding distasteful insinuations.
In an exclusive interview I had with Nigerian presidential candidate Peter Obi, he tells me he would bring back fuel subsidy, but first tackle the corruption he says is tied to it. He also says he would be firmly in charge, unlike former President Muhammadu Buhari, whom he says was “not in charge.” And would he step aside if the opposition unites behind another candidate? We discussed that too.

Let’s talk about Atiku and who he is really bound to, shall we? 2003—by his own account rescued his close friend and ally Tinubu from losing all, supporting him 2007—left the PDP for the first time and linked up with his guy Tinubu to run for president under the AC 2014—left PDP for the 2nd time and linked up again with his close friend Tinubu the band of dementors that ripped this country apart, and was at the forefront. Called a vote for GEJ a vote for destruction of Nigeria. Contested for the ticket and lost to Buhari. 2015—told GEJ to his face that the only way he would support PDP was that GEJ step down and a Northerner be the candidate because it was the turn of the North. 2017—defected back to the same PDP he said would destroy Nigeria and we would have to look for another country. 2018—Was given the presidential candidate ticket above those who had stayed loyal to PDP. Partly because there was the general understanding that it was still the turn of the North, which meant the southerners contesting were not supposed to, talk less of getting the ticket. 2019—won the election with Peter Obi as his vice but was rigged out. While the case was still in court, he struck a deal with Buhari that 2023 would be his, and abandoned the court case. Meanwhile Peter Obi kept going to every court proceeding because AA struck this deal without the knowledge of those he knew would oppose it, while Atiku retuned to base (UAE). 2022—Atiku, knowing fully well that it was now the turn of the South—the very reason he gave for not supporting GEJ, still contested. Makinde couldn’t hide his disappointment and tweeted about it. Instead of choosing and supporting a candidate, he decided it must be him. Just like in 2014, he destroyed the PDP again—this time irreversibly. He also congratulated his longtime friend Tinubu for emerging victorious in the openly dollarized APC convention. 2025—joined the coalition and AGAIN despite it being the turn of the South, is contesting. He openly insulted everyone who was contesting ON NATIONAL TV, including his current running mate—all in a bid to paint himself as the only candidate worthy. He is now 80yrs old. Now I ask you, Who is really fragmenting the opposition, and has a history of fragmenting opposition for his own selfish ends? Who is the octogenarian hypocrite who has a history of being an active and willing participant in the utter destruction of Nigeria with the APC? How much is your soul worth that you disparage those working for their candidate of choice for free while you lie like a rug and belittle yourself just to support the actual proven megalomaniac who is probably at the least more than twice your age and should be chilling with his great grand kids to run your country?
Obi (who, by the way, is bound to Mr. Tinubu on policies) is the singular reason for that and will forever own it! He is the one who fragmented the opposition, and whatever consequences come from that will be his burden for the rest of his life! History is brutal and unforgiving, and he can’t memory-hole this one. We won’t allow it!

They are now arguing that Azumini proposed seaport cannot handle 5000 tons ship. This is how they spread ignorance to kill Igbo projects. Let's educate them with FACTS: 1. Azumini is NOT a river gutter, it's 19 nautical miles to the Atlantic. The Azumini Blue River joins Imo River which flows 240km directly into the Atlantic through Akwa Ibom. The corridor is just 35km to the sea. With dredging, it becomes a channel — same way Onne and Port Harcourt were dredged. 2. 5000 tons is SMALL even barges carry it. Do you know that ordinary river barges in Nigeria already carry 2000-8000 tons daily on the Niger? Calabar Port currently with only 9.5m draft handles 15,000-20,000 ton vessels. So anyone saying Azumini cannot handle 5000 tons doesn't know shipping. The plan is: Dredge to 10-12m depth like Calabar Use feeder vessels and barges to connect to Ibom Deep Sea Port and Onne Cargo moves from big ocean ships at Ibom/Onne to Azumini via barges, that is how 80% of ports work in the world (Rotterdam, Antwerp model). 3. The purpose is NOT to compete with Lekki, but to serve Aba. Aba needs raw materials IN and finished goods OUT. If Azumini handles even 5000-10,000 ton vessels, logistics cost for Aba manufacturers drops by 40-60%. That is the goal not bragging about big ships. 4. They said Onne cannot work, today Onne is Nigeria's most modern port. They said Ibom Deep Sea Port cannot work, construction has started. They always say Igbo projects cannot work. They want us to keep going to Lagos to clear goods and then pay N1.8m per truck to bring it to Onitsha. That suffering is their business. Azumini will work. The feasibility study will prove the dredging requirement, the draft, the cost and the design. Stop listening to people who have never built a jetty arguing about tonnage. Nigeria is not a country with strong institutions like the US or UK where they'll checkmate a terrible president and prevent him from doing irreparable harm. That's why we need a good man as president. A man who knows how weak our institutions are and absolutely refuses to exploit them while also working to strengthen them. That's why Nigeria needs Peter Obi Now, rush over to vote4obi.com/ to join his townhall and hear firsthand the plans he has for Nigeria
