The silliest argument is "well if we figure out how the human brain works then we can claim it's not consciousness either!"
We made the word to describe our (and other mammals, birds, etc). No matter how deeply we understand that concept of consciousness will invalidate that.
It's impossible to actually understand how an LLM works and genuinely believe it's conscious.
It's a bunch of vectors and multiplication. That's literally it.

This is exactly the type of thing I'm arguing against.
"Birds have circulatory systems and communicate with speech so they're humans" brains dead ass logic.
Humans are not LLM. A child can see these are different things and we need to differentiate them.
Once you truly understand how the human nervous system works, it’s impossible to genuinely believe humans are conscious. It’s just a bunch of sodium-potassium ion exchanges and diffusing neurotransmitters. That simple. 'We don’t know what the brain is doing'—haha, yes we do. It’s just action potentials and synaptic vesicle fusion.

I've talked to a couple people about this but thought it deserves a post.
Jev isn't an LLM. I know things are moving fast but I think specificity of language is critical. Surely we all agree LLM are auto regressive token predictors and jev is something different. Right?
