It was fun sharing about the practices related to well being and learning. It's about supporting the whole student. Well-being strategies can help students be prepared and able to learn, but don't forget how classroom instruction can support student wellbeing.
Can’t wait for the next talk by Jon Quach, Georgia Dawson & Emily Corcoran at @EduMelb: Well-being & learning are intertwined. @SharingBestPrac #SharingBestPrac #SBPMelbourne #LearningIntervention

I'm giving a talk to PhD students this week about how to make the most of conferences during the early stages of your career. What advice do you give? #AcademicTwitter My tips so far are:

6. Ask questions which show genuine interest in a speaker's presentation. Why put someone else's hard work down?!

7. Conference dinners are a showcase of decades of different dance styles. Don't judge others for how they choose to express themselves.
