I've been pondering what to do with the @aws_cb_blogs bot. With the X API price changes to on-demand pricing in Apri/May I've stopped the bot from posting as I found it becoming too expensive for a hobby project. Let's take a closer look in this thread. #awscommunity

I will keep the bot around in case the API pricing changes, but otherwise I would suggest following the posts via an RSS reader or a similar bot on bluesky or any other platform.

It seems the new X subscription model is now in full effect and there is no access to the X API without having a subscription. Therefor as of today there will be no more automated tweets from @aws_hero_blogs and @aws_cb_blogs until I figure out if there is an alternative.

AWS has also removed a log4j patch from the Java 25 runtime to restore optimal performance. This was implemented when Log4shell hit the industry and was in all previous runtimes.
