Yesterday the SATP architecture draft co-authored by Quant and IBM went into IETF Last Call. Today UK banks completed the first live customer transactions on the Quant-built GBTD platform, and IBM plugged Digital Asset Haven into Swift’s tokenized-deposit ledger.
Tokenization is leaving the lab.• SATP (Quant + IBM + MIT + Intel): gateway standard for moving assets between networks without wrapping or custom bridges. Last Call opened 23 Sept, comments due 7 Oct.
• GBTD live: Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, NatWest, Santander, Nationwide and Monzo ran real remortgages and a marketplace purchase. Funds locked, then released automatically when conditions were met. Quant built the shared platform.
• IBM today: Digital Asset Haven now connects to Swift’s permissioned ledger so banks can instruct tokenized deposits with ISO 20022 messages. Same week same stack.
Sibos next week. Quant’s programmable settlement demo is already on the calendar.
