Palmer is not completely fit yet. So he is taking time to recover in this intl break. He was understanding when he was left out of the WC squad. Why can't the team also do the same courtesy for him.

Selling Jackson when we had Emegha out was a bigger mistake than selling Enzo. We could have really used his ability to create and take defenders on against teams like Brentford.

I told this before the Hull game and we now have 1 point from the 2 games. Xabi is being too passive and defensive which will not work when we have such poor defenders. He needs to do what Klopp did and go all out on attack. Play Quenda in LWB.
With Xabi at the helm. I wouldn't trust to get even 4 points out of the 4 PL games. He is so passive and as soon as the opposition takes the lead he brings on more defenders. We will be lucky to get a single win in these games.

Good analysis. Xabi must be terrified of our defence to use Pep instead of Quenda against them. Quenda can easily get past their RB and create more chances. Xabi just needs to be a bit more brave. Bring in Lavia and Quenda at HT.
Brentford matches vs big teams are so terrible to watch. Send everything route 1 to Igor Thiago or in-behind for their wingers to chase. And take loads of time out the game for throw-ins and set-pieces.

Enada idukulam Palmer blame panringa. Last season Palmer avlo velayada kuda ilaye da. The major change I am seeing in Delap is his confidence by playing continuously. In Chelsea he never got to play continuous games.
Look how Morgan Gibbs White left the ball for him, but Cole Palmer would’ve taken the ball from him at that point and passed backwards or sideways or even get dispossessed.
This was one of the reasons we didn’t see such goals from Delap at Chelsea and maybe why he was always aggressive

This is what I have been saying. You cannot make the same mistake in football. Experimentation and loss is completely understandable but Xabi is being naive where he makes the same mistake over and over again.
When I talk about Xabi Alonso tactical set up, I'm always tagged you don't know football.
I only watch match once to understand the error in games, Alonso keep repeating same error every week.
Football is not emotionally for me, I watch with keen eye..

Could easily be a “five” with Gusto on the left providing width, but wouldn’t be surprised against a 5-4-1 of Hull if it’s something like this
🔹Gusto & Hato full-backs both advancing and providing rotations with the “wide” men
🔹Lavia & Reece managing the build with the two CBs
Would’ve preferred Barco for this to give more fluidity especially down that left side, but let’s see how it goes! UTC 💪

A part of this is completely true. I am not very impressed with Gittens and still think we made a mistake in signing him but Estevao was worse than Gittens last night but there is still a lot of support for him because he has the potential. Shudn't the same apply to Gittens?
What exactly did he do wrong? Im actually trying to understand. He had to do a 2v1 and go and mark who Barco was meant to mark and still went to get to his man who he was meant to mark, when his team won the ball. He made a run in behind to take advantage of the space left. He made a good pass under pressure in a 2v1 situation to give to Welbeck who also did well to almost release Estevao in the box.
I think there is something im seeing in this uneccesarry in this Gittens hate from the fanbase

Cesc is a true Spaniard who rates creativity over physicality unlike this wimpy Xabi. Cesc would have started Barco from day 1 and Gusto would not even be in the squad.

I also felt that Rogers lacked character and he should have grabbed Rice by the neck like Costa did with Koscielny. That would have put the fear of touching him again.
The more I see of Morgan Rogers — his meltdown over the Rice trip, and then his interview with Sky tonight — the more I’m convinced: we absolutely dodged a bullet. He’s not the right character. He’s not the type of player we want at Arsenal. Simple as that.

This is the best performance by a Chelsea midfielder this season. Barco was lucky he got a YC or he should have been the one subbed off. Calm passing under pressure, relentless pressing. Such a mature performance. So unlucky that he had to play with dunderheads.
