Parano1d has one developer. But it no longer has one builder. @ignotus_nemo posted an update yesterday, and it's a good moment to look at what has grown around his work in just seven weeks of mainnet. colosseum.com/arena/projects… Mining On Oct 6, two pools alone counted more than 3,600 mining machines. Together that's about the power of 2,500 high-end gaming graphics cards. Other pools and solo miners are not even in that number. Builders Well-known names in mining software now support Parano1d, next to four public pools, eleven mining tools, a self-hosted solo pool and two community block explorers. None of them are run by Ignotus. They chose to build on it. Research After a discussion on Ethereum Research, an outside developer re-ran Parano1d's security calculation on his own and got the same results. He also changed one setting on purpose, and the checks failed exactly as they should. That's not a full review of the math, but it means you don't have to take the numbers on trust. What's next In about three days, v2 goes live: programmable spending rights and contracts, right in the normal wallet. If you want to help, test it and share what you saw. A saved receipt that someone else verifies is the best proof that it works. $NOID ①

Dev: @ignotus_nemo

Kaspa is real-time bitcoin, solving scalability is great but not the core value prop. Real-time bitcoin means achieving in a few seconds the same security guarantees that nakamoto consensus / bitcoin achieves after an hour; decentralizing each consensus round rather than chain quality achieved through a coarse aggregate of rounds. A clean definition anchor for real-time decentralization (RTD): The ability to sample the honest majority in real-time. (Note that even fast leaderless VRF-based proof-of-stake cant sample honestly bc the selected nodes get to choose the content of their blocks after they've been selected; pos=select then write, pow=write then select) -- RTD affects: txn confirmation, censorship resistance, secure oracle finality, MEV resistance. Eg censorship resistance, bitcoin is the most censorship resistant chain, but if 60% of the miners are censoring you (point in reference: OFAC abiding tornado censoring eth miners), your txn will pend for 30-40 minutes. For shady business payments that's not prohibitive, but for a real economy, for an asset aspiring to be at least a king of collateral even if not an MoE, this is unacceptable, esp under economic stress. Beyond censorship, all things finance benefit tremendously from pow density, from sampling the majority in real-time in a secure and honest manner. I wont get into MEV resistance now, but having a "conscious" stream of oracle attestations (not price oracles) finalized in real-time qualitatively upgrades the ability to encode informed risk, collateral, liquidity management, which is the lifeblood of defi. In context of conf times, increasing from 1 to 10bps saturates the latency optimization. But for pow density we need dozens of blocks per second, with the endgame of 100 bps: Under 10bps a 37% attacker can fake the majority signal with probability 12%. With 100bps this drops to 0.3%. Today Kaspa can't accelerate to >10bps w/o harming conf times, but DAGKNIGHT will be implemented hopefully by Q3 at least on testnet, by which we will push for 25-40bps. The cherry on top: RTD also implies netsplit resistance, as per the partial synchrony framework. WWIII cyberwar resistance. Hypothetically speaking ofc. (elaborated- hashdag.medium.com/in-which-…)
Zcash is private Bitcoin Litecoin is faster Bitcoin Kaspa is scalable Bitcoin Decred is governance Bitcoin Bitcoin Cash is big block Bitcoin Ethereum is smart contract Bitcoin Quantus is quantum resistant Bitcoin Monero is reactionary fungible Bitcoin “Bitcoin” is not just a ticker. “Bitcoin” is not just one network. Bitcoin is the name of a movement, the symbol of a revolution, and the ecash that actually changed the world.

Parano1d v2.0.1 is out. This is the mandatory build for v2 activation at mainnet block 210,537. If you downloaded v2.0.0, replace it before that height. The activation height has not changed. A miner report identified a timestamp advantage in same-height block races. V2.0.1 derives the difficulty target from the parent block, so competing blocks with that parent have the same target. Thanks to the miners who brought the data. Download: parano1d.org Release: git.parano1d.org/ignotusnemo… GitHub mirror: github.com/proof-native/para… V2 activates at block 210,537, estimated around October 10. Update nodes, GUI wallets, block-producing pool nodes and exchange infrastructure before that height. Older versions cannot validate v2 blocks. Proof-native smart contracts bring programmable spending rights and persistent counters into live State. Execution and authorization are verified inside the shared recursive block proof, without retaining or replaying the full interaction history. Six templates and custom programs are available through the new Contracts workspace, CLI and API. The block target moves to 30 seconds. Capacity increases to 63 one-page transactions by default, or 206 with manually enabled Large blocks. Both classes support up to 63 contract calls within those budgets. Issuance follows a predictable height schedule: starting at 16 $NOID, decreasing every 1,051,200 blocks, approximately once a year -> to a permanent 1 $NOID tail after eight reductions. State-based growth fees retain the incentive to consolidate. The release also improves synchronization, proving, verification and receipt recovery. No data reset is needed. Existing balances, wallets and receipts are preserved.

$KAS | @kaspaunchained is making a strong push toward $0.05000. Once $0.05 is reclaimed, $0.0700 becomes the next key level to watch. $KAS is the most significant opportunities in crypto since $BTC and $ETH. A next-generation PoW blockchain designed to address the scalability and decentralisation limitations of traditional PoW systems. Behind the technology is Yonatan Sompolinsky (@hashdag), founder of DAGLabs and a key figure behind Kaspa. Yonatan co-created the GHOST protocol with his PhD advisor, Professor Aviv Zohar, in 2013. His research has also been referenced across numerous major crypto projects, including $ETH, $DOT, $AVAX, $MATIC, $ADA and $XMR. The fundamentals, technology and pedigree make $KAS a project worth watching closely. $0.05 → $0.07 → beyond ATH $0.2000 The market is preparing $KAS to break its ATH of $0.2000
$KAS | @kaspaunchained continues to push higher. $KAS at $0.05 is coming quickly Currently sitting around 80% below its $0.207 ATH. $KAS is only 5x away from reclaiming those levels and I believe a new ATH is well within reach. The ultimate PoW Layer 1. $KAS is showing what PoW can really become: ➡️Near-instant transaction confirmation, ➡️High scalability ➡️A network architecture capable of supporting real L1 adoption. $KAS is proving to be fast, scalable, and built for mass adoption. The journey back to ATH is just the beginning.

I'm a software in a big tech company in Switzerland, and I've working on tech more than a decade. And I can tell when a tech is solid. If I'd measure a project by the tech superiority, fairness, and spirit of the free money movement, then nothing beats $KAS or even comes closer.

Don't trust @NachotheKat @ZealousSwap SCAM!They constantly extort money, citing malfunctions as an excuse...like they robbed on Moonbound. They were supposed to return the money, but they still haven't. They banned if you trust about it. @michaelsuttonil look at this.

Welcome, Brice. Fun fact: Kaspa Founder Yonatan (@hashdag) wrote the GHOST protocol in 2013. Ethereum's yellow paper cites it as the basis for their consensus. You're not "coming to Kaspa from ETH" — you're going back to the source. Framework holds. $KAS

Kaspa was already wrongly evaluated based on its pre-Toccata state, but the eval gap has significantly increased since then. It will change mainly through action, by building significant things. It will take some time but early signs will show up soon. It requires evangelism to the right audience, and that process needs to slowly expand outward, starting from those who understand the nuances now
