Day 15 of the #30DayMapChallenge Fire. Burning of crop residues creates emissions. The map shows about 60k agricultural fires detected in 2024 by the @NASA FIRMS program. Conservation agriculture as promoted by @CIMMYT and @FIRA uses these crop residues to increase soil health.
