So to recap Hal Jordan is dead killed by the sheriff, John lets her go. Sheriffs son is a manhunter finger baby who John lets go because he might not be a bad guy. John steals Hals ring and takes an unsanctioned lantern built by Sinestro, then kicks Guy Gardener off of Earth and declares himself its new protector. John makes up his own oath and is now an independent contractor lantern. No suit, but he flies now. Great fuckin job guys.

This remains the best piece of live action Resident Evil we've ever gotten and clear proof that making a story about ordinary people during the Raccoon City outbreak can absolutely work and stay FAITHFUL to the source material.

I’ll say it. Resident Evil movie was not a good adaption of the games. Other than a couple of Easter eggs, that was NOT resident evil and the movie could not convince me it was. Just give me an RE movie that uses the source material and plot. PLEASE.

Except those games were actually set in the correct time period and actually had connections to the characters and franchise respected and expanded upon the lore.
