I have bitched & complained about this team daily. The bad decisions, terrible at bats, lax attitudes and poor play. Today the negativity left. I realized how lucky we are to have a team that brings a country together, who all wear their love on their sleeves. 2027 here we come.

Out of 162 games played this year this has been my favourite. Tears, laughs, scripted mound visits by John, Max being a fiend, standing 0's. Great way to say goodbye to a disappointing season. Onward and upward.

I have within 1 year lost my 4 favourite Jays. Bo, Bassitt, Gaus and now George. Being a fan for 5 decades, I'm happy I was blessed to watch them play, but it never gets easier. One day I'll find a new favourite who may not be on the roster yet. Life as a fan sucks sometimes.

I look at fans packing Rogers and think "Why are you wasting your time & money watching these guys?" I'm then reminded that my husband and I would rush from work on a cold Sept night, sit in shitty seats and cheer for a team 30 games under .500. If you love the game, you do it.

Thought we'd see a bit more oomph tonight. Double plays, swinging at balls, runners left on base is 2026. They are a team that is just bad. Focusing on next year where hopefully we'll sign some new guys to revitalize this team & the holdovers find their groove again. 馃
