DePIN passed the oracle sector in market cap this year. The category holds 264 tokens against the oracle sector's roughly 60, across more than 650 live projects. Most people still stall at three names, because DePIN gets used as if it labels one thing. One line here is worth pulling out: the size of your $AGENTIC is set by uptime, nothing else. You can't buy in, you can't trade it, you can't top it up. The only thing that moves it is how long your Beacon runs before the snapshot. Two decentralized networks solving the same problem from different angles: - The problem: agents need real data, not synthetic data. - Teneo's Solution: The Beacon turns community devices into nodes collecting public data so builders can deploy agents that query it through x402 micropayments. - Vangrid's Solution: Vangrid does the equivalent for 3D spatial capture. Different data, same architecture: distributed collection, no single point of failure, no centralized data provider to shut it down. The node earns while you sleep, and on mobile, screensaver mode keeps it going with the screen black. - Boost every 8 hours. Your Beacon Power climbs toward the 3.00x cap, and a missed window decays it 10%. The first 10 boosts are the cheapest gains you will get. - Run multiple devices on different networks.
