$MRVL Investor Day is today — and this one matters. Investors already know FY27 and FY28 should be strong. The real question is: what does Marvell’s growth look like after that? Here’s what I’m watching: Google/TPU deal: The expanded $GOOG relationship could make FY29 much bigger. The key question is whether Marvell finally gives investors a meaningful FY29 custom-silicon revenue target. Scale-up optics: This could be the surprise. CPO, NPO, UALink, ESUN and NVLink Fusion could turn connectivity into a much larger revenue opportunity than previously expected. Memory expansion: CXL and memory infrastructure are becoming increasingly important as AI systems scale. Watch for clarity on how big this can become. Margins: This may be the most important number. Marvell already expects to reach 38–40% non-GAAP operating margins. If the new long-term model moves above 40% while revenue estimates rise, EPS could see a meaningful boost. FY27/FY28 are becoming easier to understand. FY29 is where the story gets interesting. For me, the biggest catalyst today is not simply AI demand is strong. I want to see higher FY29 revenue, a clearer Google ramp, a much bigger optics opportunity, and stronger long-term margins. That’s what could justify the next leg higher for $MRVL.
