We need “trust but verify for AI, and more often than not, “don’t trust and oversee.” Without that, I’m hard-pressed to see how enterprises will trust AI agents to take action across their systems.
The good news is that it’s hard for an agent to scheme when we can see what it’s doing and independently enforce the boundaries around what it’s allowed to do.
We're really excited about working with @nvidia on this to use the transparency of AI thinking to oversee what it's doing and keep the scheming to a minimum: red.ht/47nrt6I.
Today, with over 100 industry partners, we introduced the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform, bringing together OpenShell and Sentry.
Artificial intelligence is extraordinary technology that will advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity for generations to come.
But its full promise can only be realized when people have confidence that AI is being built to be safe and deployed with wisdom and responsibility.
