Palestine is such a litmus test for your politics and this is exactly why we keep @neha_aisa on our heads and aspire to see people like her lead this country. The way she connects Palestine to the politics of majoritarianism, power and dehumanisation here is what makes her stand out. She doesn't treat it as some distant geopolitical issue. She understands that at its core, it is about whether the powerful can be allowed to decide whose lives matter and whose suffering can be ignored. This is the kind of politics I want to see in this country. Someone who can call out the RSS and BJP's majoritarian politics without sugarcoating it while still grounding everything in something as basic as human empathy.
