It wasn't how I imagined my senior year beginning. In the second quarter, I broke both bones in my forearm, and l've been forced to face the reality that my high school football career may not look the way I had always envisioned. I'm beyond grateful for all the prayers, messages, and support I've received over the past few days. I'm hopeful to make a comeback and get back on the field by the end of the year, but it's still hard to wrap my head around the possibility that I may have already played my last high school snap at the position I love. Through all of this, l've been reminded that the Lord works in mysterious and wonderful ways. Even when His plan doesn't look like mine, I trust that His will is greater, and I pray for the strength to follow wherever He leads me. This injury has given me a lot of time to reflect and has led me to several new revelations about my faith, my future, and what truly matters. With that being said, I'm incredibly proud and excited to announce that I am COMMITTED TO PLAYING FOOTBALL AT HARDING UNIVERSITY! @Harding_FB I'm beyond blessed for this opportunity, I'm thankful for Coach Gunn and the FWC coaching staff and community, my trainers and everyone who's helped me along the way, the Harding staff for believing in me, and my friends & family and I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for the next chapter of my life.
