There is something truly magical about witnessing a spirit smile. When you see energy in its purest and truest form, it looks like this. It looks like love. Love is the ruler and the conqueror of everything that does not serve our growth, our peace, or our lasting joy. We can see love. We can feel love. It lives in every gentle glance and every joyful sound.
When I look into the face of my little cousin Bassy, I see light. I see love. And in that glow, I know our ancestors are smiling down on us. They are proud. They are near. Family carries a sacred order, and we honor each person who came before us. We respect them. We learn from them. We walk forward because they once walked for us.
This way of living is not always easy. To be obedient to the Most High and to lead with conscience means you often stand ahead of the pack. That can feel lonely at times, but it is also a gift. Your job is not to be perfect. Your job is to unite. Your job is to share the message from those above, to remind others that we are never alone. If you know better, you do better. And we are doing this work so that all people, young and old, can have access to the next wave of the future. We are building a bridge so they can stay current, stay connected, and stay loved.
The shot Bassy made was never just about the game. It was a sign. It was a reminder that one moment, one movement, one heart can change minds and shift directions. It can turn us from fear into faith. It can turn us from doubt into destiny. That shot was guided by something greater than us. It was guided by God.
To everyone who came out and filled that space with energy, thank you. You turned Coney Island into power. You turned a crowd into a family. You turned a moment into a memory that will never fade.
Love is Love. And love is always the answer.
