This is probably the most dumb statement on the matter. Pakistani players have been playing like this for past 2 years. A Pakistani core and an active vrs team like legion still can’t participate because of nationality requirements.
What is year to year change? Based on number of monitors sold in the country?

EXCLUSION OF PAKISTAN FROM ASIAN CS?
As per genius behind this format, Pakistan is not a country in Asia apparently. The highest ranked South Asian team (Legion) as per VRS has been excluded completely by removing Pakistan? What is the point? Is it to give a free slot to some other region?
What is the need of just Grand Finals in India? What are we acheiving from it except removing the team that was clear favorites to win?
Oceania being a bigger region doesn't have LAN but apparently LAN grand finals were needed for South Asia and that too in country where players can't travel.
