I recently tried ollama 3.1 locally for testing AI layers for a project. The frontend code generated was pretty basic, and even relatively simpler text use cases performed underwhelmingly. Would like to know if u've tried and if/what has worked for u. I have an old Mac M1 16G.

I also have a Mac Mini M4, 16G - haven't tried running any LLM on it so far.

Grok 4.7 comparatively seems quite basic for frontend - been using it for the last week. How has it been for you guys? #buildwithai #ai #grok #claude

Just shipped a new feature on easymarkdowneditor.com after user feedback - a Table of Contents that lets you navigate to any title on the Markdown files allowing you to go back and forth conveniently! If you struggle sharing markdown during presentations, do give it a try!
AI coding tools generate a lot of Markdown. Implementation plans. README files. Architecture notes. Agent instructions. Documentation. But sharing those files is still surprisingly clunky. So Easy Markdown Editor now lets you share a Markdown document with a URL. Write/edit locally → click Share → send the link. The recipient opens it directly in the editor and gets their own local copy. No signup. No permanent hosting. The link expires after 3 days and can be revoked early. easymarkdowneditor.com #buildinpublic #markdown #ai

I like that I have more time to understand the design trade-offs, since coding takes significantly less time now. But the sheer number of things to trade off between feels overwhelming at sometimes. Both because of AI. #AgenticAI #LLM #softwaredevelopment

Shipped a feature that Easy Markdown Editor was missing: Share Links. The editor is local-first, so your Markdown stays on your device while you work. When you want to share it, just click Share. A temporary link is created that you can send over Slack, email, or chat. The recipient opens it directly in the editor—no account required. Links expire after 3 days and can be revoked early. easymarkdowneditor.com Would love to hear what you'd build next into a local-first Markdown editor. #buildinpublic

I shared DocStash a few weeks ago — a mobile app for saving and organizing documents. A few people tried it. Gave me real feedback. I shipped everything they asked for. Here's what changed 🧵

Every other tool does one thing, nothing does both. DocStash is free on Android. If you convert or compress documents on your phone — or wish you had a better way to — worth trying.

This wasn’t a complex enterprise system. That’s the point. Before AI, even simple problems died early because learning a new stack first was too much friction. Now the framework barrier is smaller.
