Republican megadonor Tim Mellon has sharply reduced his political giving this cycle after the Senate failed to pass the SAVE America Act, according to The New York Times. Mellon gave nearly $200 million during the 2024 election cycle but has made roughly $3.1 million in publicly disclosed contributions to Republican candidates and groups so far this cycle. The Times reported that Mellon told Republicans he was withholding donations from Senate candidates because lawmakers failed to pass the Trump-backed voting legislation.

My suggested course of action: 1. For the mid-terms, hold your nose and vote straight Republican, including for the RINOs. The Dems actually are worse. 2. The day after the Mid-terms we get to work identifying high quality America First Candidates to Primary the RINOs in 2028. The goal should be to NEVER have to vote for RINOs in the General Elections ever again. Got to prepare better to get rid of them in the Primaries. (Too many RINOs slipped through this time.)

Senate Republicans want to lose the Senate. They want to just sit around making deals with Democrats and avoiding any accountability for what happens. They want an environment where they can cast fake votes that allow them to look like they’re doing the right thing while getting what they want from Democrats—amnesty, ICE defunding, Trump impeachment. A minority Senate where they can “vote right” but let Democrats get whatever they want is a dream scenario for McConnell and Thune. Don’t let them let get away with it. Vote like your continued existence depends on victory. Because it does. The black pillers will tell you to stay home because nothing matters. But black pilling is gay. And giving puke RINOs what they want is also gay. Don’t give Senate Republicans what they want, which is a Congress entirely run by Democrats. Put them back in charge and then make them miserable by forcing them to show up to work every day to secure the border and reform elections. If you want to make Senate Republicans like McConnell and Thune miserable and angry, vote to keep them in the majority. It is the ultimate revenge for their nonsense.

Democrats just blocked nationwide voter ID again, and of course the objection came from California. Senator Mike Lee asked for unanimous consent on the SAVE America Act’s voter ID piece. Senator Padilla from California shut it down on the spot. Lee pointed out California does not require voter ID, and they even punish people for asking about ID at a polling place. That is not election security. That is protecting a system built for fog. If you need a photo ID to buy beer, you can show one to vote. Pass it. Stop letting fraudsters hide behind Senate procedure.
