Stand by our story, which weeks ago reported accurately that you three had part-time government roles that neither you nor the Pentagon disclosed to the public, even as you continued to write on military affairs. As you know, we sought clarification and explanation from all of you ahead of publication.
Our story did not report that you were paid for your messaging. The story reported that you were affiliated with the Pentagon and you and the institution withheld that, even when asked. That was and remains true.

Is it OK to falsely imply that someone did something when you had absolutely zero evidence of it, and included zero evidence in your article, which led to a bunch of people who agree with your politics repeating as if it’s true even though it’s a complete and utter falsehood?
If you did that intentionally, that would be wrong, right? If you did that unintentionally, do journalistic ethics require that you correct it?
I’m very interested in your and @wapo’s commitment to journalistic ethics, Dan, having experienced it firsthand.

In Sherrill v. Knight in 1977 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled that the First Amendment limited the right of the White House to arbitrarily deny a press pass to a journalist.
Tell us you have no clue what the First Amendment says without telling us, you journalistic subtard.
No one is preventing CNN, Politico or the desiccated husk of MSNBC from writing or broadcasting whatever the hell they want.
However, they have no First Amendment right to privileged White House access.
And if you think there is such a right, then think it through. That means every citizen journalist on X has a First Amendment right to privileged White House access.
That makes about as much sense as your moronic, ill-advised, dysfunctional, ill-informed and wholly irrational post below.
