I wanted to see how far I could push astra in threejs
so I spent the last 2 weeks having astra 3D model every single piece in this scene
interactive link in the thread!
I gave claude a youtube link to watch for reference and now its like I got a mf roommate watching TV
I can hear the claude watching the video playing in the background while I work on other windows lol
This was a fun little experiment i tried out today. I generated an animation with H3, then generated a 3D model per-frame at 12FPS with tripo3d.
I've had this idea for about a year now but agents can now easily automate the process so it only took a few hours to try it out.
This is horrible on memory and probably little to no practical application, but its fun and looks kinda cool. I might mess around with the technique a bit more and opus made a nice little video of it too :)
more stable view shows off the single angle from where the frames were generated, it looks actually pretty good from the sides, pretty bad from the angles that were not part of the reference, unsurprisingly
Opus 5 came out 60 days from 5.5 release.
Assuming there was an opus or fable for each point release internally that means they are hitting point release indicators about 1 every 12 days.
Running same basic math on the Opus 4 series it was 74 days on average between point releases.
Idk if there's any meaningful correlation between these things but interesting
I'm very curious if the claims about Grok 4.7 being better at engineering tasks due to including spacex/tesla engineering data in the training set has any validity to it?
I have little to no experience with physical engineering anything other than arduino/3d print projects so im curious if anyone has tested this out.
