US Online poker will be a disaster forever as long as we exist in a state by state permission structure. Also hugely damaging to net new player growth. Poker as an esport, funded by sponsors, competing for rankings, is how we reach escape velocity. Support ev1poker .com 馃憡

This is such a bad idea, what % of ppl that compete in esports(not just tier 1 major esports, the whole competitive ecosystem) can support themselves financially. Then compare that to poker

Can you explain the support themselves financially part? EV1 Poker is free to play, and is modeled after comp video games like Valorant, and like chess .com. These games get ton of volume daily from non pros with no financial incentive

Derek just because you are in the poker industry does not mean you have a clue about online poker. The fenced in states alone of Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania create a very viable way for players to make a living.

Is your preference to play only in those states, or vs players in all states + int鈥檒 players?

Agree with all of it. None of it can happen unless there is a Poker Federation that can mature the governance a and legitimately make that case to Governments.

Mayyybe we have a chance in the near future- a very narrow window - to bring legalizing real money online poker nationwide to Congress. However, i think it鈥檒l be a long time because we have to have 26 states on board before it鈥檒l be considered on the federal level ever again.
Well, DNegs, you alongside @phil_hellmuth, and others, have the pull to bring changes in the U.S. Us plebs can only write our congresspeople to air our concerns. Short term, especially now that the gambling tax write-in nightmare is (possibly/maybe) nearly over, it鈥檚 a good time to also bring the issue of online poker to our members of Congress. In addition to generating spending revenue into the states, I believe the argument can be made that it鈥檚 unconstitutional that we don鈥檛 have it. The opposing argument is: fraud and/or gambling鈥檚 wrong. In the long run, it鈥檚 up to the states to build ways to regulate online poker. Once we have 26 states with those regulations in place, then we can bring it to Congress. So yeah. Rally the poker troops!!

It鈥檚 been dead for a very long time. The sites have no incentives to operate within the confines of the law or goodwill of the consumer. It鈥檚 a cash grab. Don鈥檛 look under the hood bro.
