why is it so hard to monetize a skill? you can know something be good at it without even trying and still nobody's paying. skill alone is invisible, people can't pay for what they can't see. no proof, no receipts, no results you're just asking them to trust a claim. and nobody buys "I'm good at X." they buy a fix to a problem they already have. trust also takes repetition, not talent, showing up consistently is what makes someone comfortable enough to actually pay you. skill gets you the right to be paid proof, positioning, and consistency get you the actual payment. so if you're skilled and still broke like me 😭 it's not the skill. it's everything around it.
