It doesn't acquire some magical intellectual legitimacy simply because you slap the word satire on a cartoon. But here's where things get interesting. Nicholson, publicly defending his handiwork, proudly declares: “It's called satire. That's what WE do.” WE, Mark? WE? Well, ladies and gentlemen, there you have it. After all these years, we finally have an explanation. ONE NATION ISN'T JUST A POLITICAL PARTY. IT'S A FUCKING COMEDY SHOW. We feel sad for John Barnes, #OneNation "Celebrity Candidate" in Victoria and his health condition; really, we do. But feeling sorry or having sympathy for someone's condition- and he clearly has mental issues- is not a good reason to elect them TO RUN A STATE : Barnes was diagnosed with post-traumatic epilepsy. He takes medication for the condition but can have seizures without warning. His wife, Rowena Barnes says her husband is also prone to sudden mood swings and outbursts. “He can snap at the drop of a hat and go into a rage" she said in a REPORTED interview. A supporter throughout his well-documented battle with acquired brain injury was on Wednesday incredulous at Barnes’ latest career change. “It is beyond ridiculous,” they said. “If he is put under pressure, he doesn’t have the mental capacity to deal with it.” - SMH August 20, 2026. THE LIBERALS. 👉 Labor didn't take office until 2022, FIVE YEARS LATER. 👉 Government grants to a religious organisation are NOT evidence of funding terrorism. 👉 A person associated with an organisation allegedly committing a crime does NOT make that organisation, or anyone who funded its legitimate activities, responsible. By Pauline's extraordinary logic, if a bloke who attended a Catholic church robbed a bank, the government would be responsible because it gave the church a community grant. Or if a One Nation supporter committed a serious crime, would Pauline accept responsibility for every dollar of public funding her party received? OF COURSE SHE FUCKING WOULDN'T. And here's the best bit. Pauline hasn't established that a cent of these grants funded extremism, that the organisation supported terrorism, or that Labor knowingly funded anything improper. Not one fucking shred of evidence establishing those allegations.
