I found I had less and less to say, until finally, I became silent, and began to listen. I discovered in the silence, the voice of God Søren Kierkegaard

This is how it feels to live in a dictatorship.
I was invited to Brown University last night to "talk to students"... but the moment I asked about Charlie Kirk the entire thing got shut down. I have never seen students so terrified to speak. If a conversation like this is not allowed... there is no point in going to college.

Well, I never went to his timeline to comment anything. I'm sure it happened because of something I said without mentioning him in other places... Very mature person.

SAY NO TO DRUGSS! PLEASE!!
The ad, posted on Instagram, showed K-pop singer Karina wearing a skirt and holding a pair of trainers. Critics claimed the lighting on Karina's skirt created a white triangular image which resembled a KKK hood. l.euronews.com/Yl3Y

At Anthropic > AI will kill us all - How do you know that? > because we will make it do so - but why? > because we want the whole industry to be regulated - after we are all dead?? > only 10% will die, the rest will pay for our subscription

It seems they are willing to cause a global catastrophe to finally get the regulations they want.

Well, turns out the aggression against Israel just mutated after October 7th into the most brutal media campaign of the 21st century.
Every news story follows a predictable decay function- it peaks, then is soon forgotten. That is, every story except one: Israel. I analyzed 14.7 million news articles in 65 languages, cable news airtime, and social media data from X. The results were staggering. 🧵

Motaz Azaiza, a Gazan journalist evacuated during the war and someone who has personally attacked me, is finally saying the blunt truth. Gaza‑based “journalists,” whether tied to Al Jazeera, Hamas, foreign outlets, or social media, systematically self‑censored and hid anti‑Hamas sentiments inside the Strip. Their mission was to maintain a narrative centered solely on Israel and to erase any dissent, criticism of Hamas, or diversity in Palestinian views. Azaiza describes how he struggled with supposed “journalists” who shut off their cameras whenever Gazans condemned Hamas or tried to hold it responsible for the catastrophe it brought upon them, from October 7 to the ruinous “resistance” mythology that followed. So to anyone repeating the line that Gaza had “more journalists killed than WWII and Vietnam combined,” think carefully about who and what you are calling a journalist in territory fully controlled by a violent extremist organization responsible for severe harm and repression. This does not deny that Israel’s offensive killed or injured real journalists. But it does expose how tightly Hamas has curated and policed the narrative for three years since October 7.

"I don't want to live in a world where someone else makes the world a better place better than we do"
All the regulations being floated by frontier model companies must be viewed through the lens of them losing tokens to Open-Source models. The timing of these regulations seems to line up perfectly with Open Source closing the gap significantly (but not completely) — and @nvidia going all in on open source in the last 60 days. If we’re gonna regulate, why don’t we require that last year’s frontier models and weights be open-sourced?

It's funny how they say "The Facts". I took the work to compare what they claim with the original article "Wolves, sheep, and gypsies".... Their claim: You compare gypsies with wolves that have to be shot and deported. What I interpret from the article: vagrants do not belong to Copenhaguen because they shit in the bushes, camp in green areas. This is not Danish culture and we don't have to tolerate it. The vagrants turn out to be gypsies, but that's clearly not the reason I want them deported.
Oh noes!! The clowns have made a little website that rants left and right about the evils of "fashware" and capitalism and all the many (MANY!) people you have to boycot. And lots of non-Omarchy ones thrown in for good measure 🤣 stopomarchy.neocities.org/

As usual, the woke mob finds the worst possible interpretation, declares it the absolute true, and proceeds with the social warfare.

This is a story of how something good is perverted by what Ayn Rand called second-handers. - The Sam Altmans of the world: extract value from the ones that are really producing it. - The Bernie Sanders: create a business by telling the ones creating value are evil. As long as they produce Bernie has some doomerism to sell.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

OpenAI and Anthropic irresponsible? Yeah, good timing to convince people of that. That AI is going to hack everything and kill us all. Well, that's in the land of wild speculation. For starters if AI becomes so good at hacking/coding then the first thing we do is a formally verified OS, and bye bye hacking and killing all humanity.

and Perelman would probably tell you "it is fine if others care about recognition and money. Not everyone has to be like me".
> be perelman > solve the poincaré conjecture > post it on arxiv, three preprints, zero journals > get offered the fields medal, say no > get offered a million dollars, say no > reporters camp outside your apartment in st petersburg > "i am not interested in money or fame" > 2026: the fight over the next one is about whose name goes on the paper
