In case you missed it: Here's my story for @TheHockeyNews on Alexander #Ovechkin, and his legacy as a supporter of a ruthless dictator. Just because he puts pucks in nets doesn't mean Ovechkin shouldn't be judged in part by his off-ice actions. thehockeynews.com/news/lates…

This will be a general timeline of Jared’s Kushner’s actions starting from the beginning of Trump’s first term. It is now evident he is a Mossad spy & this should put everything in an entirely new light, & hopefully help everyone understand the dire circumstances of our nation.

Listening to Kelsey Mitchell's exit interview, I couldn't help but laugh a little. Not because what she's describing isn't difficult. I'm sure it is. But I continue to believe that one of the biggest adjustments happening in the WNBA right now is that these women are learning what it's like to play in a genuinely relevant, heavily scrutinized professional sports league. KM talked about how hard it is being a Fever player. About waking up every day and giving your best, only for your best to not be enough for some people. And my lifelong sports-fan reaction was basically: Well...yeah. 😅 Ask an NFL kicker who misses a 38-yarder to lose a playoff game how many fans appreciate that he "gave his best." Ask an NBA point guard who goes 3-for-17 in Game 7. Ask an Iowa QB after three straight three-and-outs. 😅 She talked about how hard it is "showing up every day to compete for fans that may or may not like you." Kelsey... Sports fans have disliked players ON THEIR OWN TEAM since approximately 15 minutes after sports were invented. 😂 Iowa fans can love the Hawkeyes with every molecule in their bodies while simultaneously demanding that somebody be benched, fired, or launched directly into the sun. That's SPORTS. 😅 And I've never seen a professional sports league collectively so consumed by social media discourse. Players talk about tweets. Coaches talk about tweets. Reporters ask players about tweets. Other players respond to those comments. ESPN discusses the response. Then somebody's podcast discusses ESPN discussing the response to the response. 😂 Caitlin Clark didn't invent obnoxious sports fans. She brought an enormous number of mainstream sports fans into a league that had never experienced this level of attention and scrutiny before. And THAT'S the distinction. What they're experiencing may genuinely be new for the WNBA. It is absolutely NOT new for professional sports. Fans second-guess you. Fans criticize you. Fans irrationally blame you for losses. Fans love the superstar more than they love you. Fans scream that you should pass her the damn ball. Fans demand trades. Fans say stupid shit on the internet. Welcome to big-time sports! You've made it! 😅 For decades the WNBA wanted more attention. Bigger audiences. Packed arenas. Better TV ratings. More money. More relevance. Well... Mainstream sports relevance comes with mainstream sports bullshit. 😂

Hi Michael Tracey born August 8, 1988 from Caldwell, New Jersey who formerly worked at Young Turks. Pleased to meet you this weekend, we're gonna have a fun time.
After identifying Jane Doe earlier tonight, I have now removed the information I published. Why? Because the principle has been served: to underscore that permanently anonymizing litigants who make sensational, spectacular, reputation-destroying claims about others -- so long as they can self-declare some form of victimization -- cannot be countenanced. It's destructive, and an egregious abuse of the legal system by huckster plaintiff's lawyers. This practice has to end. Lawyers who seek to monetize this sleazy tactic should have to think A LOT HARDER about the claims they're willing to throw out into the public domain, using impressionable clients who may not even know what they're getting themselves into. So why have I now removed her information? Because I don't believe she's the main "villain" here. I primarily blame the bottom-feeding, media-manipulating, sleazebag lawyers who've made a whole cash-grab industry out of this racket. Thomas Giuffra in particular has a lot to answer for. He's the central reason for the current debacle. Given the intense nationwide and global interest in this case, I don't want to bring any further negative attention to this woman. I don't believe she ought to be punished or subjected to any retribution or humiliation. I believe a RATIONAL solution is necessary here. Not more character assassination -- of her, the seven young men, or anyone else. Truly, that is my genuine view. I also recognize there are unique factors that must be taken into account given the hugely outsized publicity of this case. So that's why I have removed the information. The aforementioned principle has been served: eroding the premise that anyone who claims any form of victimization is entitled to permanent anonymity, even as their lawyer(s) use the courts -- aided by a compliant media -- to name & shame others for the most heinous of crimes. No matter how lacking in credibility their own claims might be, or contradicted by mountains of other evidence. That's all I ever sought to accomplish here. Not to impugn this young woman on a personal level. I have no animus toward her, and never have. I sincerely wish her the best, and hope her life is not defined by this calamity. I completely stand by the accuracy of what I reported as to Jane Doe's identity. This is not a retraction -- it's an independent discretionary judgment I alone have made. No lawyers or anyone else have influenced this decision.

What the hell is happening that one college campus - @Cornell - has 1,200 sexual assault cases in SIX YEARS???? THAT IS 200 SEXUAL ASSAULTS PER YEAR FOR SIX YEARS. THAT IS AN EPIDEMIC.
1,200 sexual assault cases were filed at Cornell from 2018 to 2024. Most of those found responsible received minor sanctions that allowed them to remain on campus, such as probation or training. Only 7 ended in expulsion or dismissal. usatoday.com/story/news/nati…
