Mitch Marner put on a clinic on how to be a hometown boy and say all the wrong things, present yourself all the wrong ways, & treat the fan base like they’re a plague.
Gavin McKenna is putting on a clinic on how to undo & reverse all that, w/perfection. Can’t wait to watch 🍁 92

So many accounts I I see shitting on Elliotte Friedman have me blocked.
A great litmus test of whether you’re sane, or a woke retard 👍🏼

Idk if Emil Andrae would’ve been able to help or improve anything, but it sucks that the Leafs got a U25 D as the main piece in the Woll trade, and had to add him into the Knies trade.
The D is old and weak. Badly needs an injection of youth. I’d be trying to flip OEL now.

A break in the Leaf tweets to asks a very important question: WHO THE HELL VOTES FOR THIS IN THAT CITY???
It’s like a retard simulation, except real life.
In case anyone thinks the Bradford campaign edited the video unfairly or that this is AI, I found the original unedited video.
Street festivals everywhere!

I thought McKenna & Marchenko had instant chemistry when they played together tonight. I’d keep them together w/JT in the middle and leave 34/88 rolling with Roslovic.
Another change I’d make is Groulx out for MacEwan. Need more grit in that spot over a quad A nothing-burger.

What a fricking game lmao.
3-on-0 in OT and Cowan miss. Marchenko blows a tire, etc. Chaos. And 34 seals it off a superstar play by 88.
Leafs dominated the back half of the game after being shit for the first half. McKenna 1sts. Tons of speed through the n-zone all night. Big W

Awesome to see McKenna get his first snipe and 🍎. Huge props to Roslovic as that was a huge play to get it back down low to Matthews.

I’m behind in game but slow, old man JT sure looked quick streaking up the wing and sniping that one to get them back in the game.

I can’t believe the percentage of this damaged fan base who refuse to critique these guys 4 games in, as through they’re the young San Jose Sharks or something.
And not the same core that has been playing like this for a decade.

I just spent $250 (up from $220 last season) adding NHL Centre Ice so I can watch all the regional games…
Turn on the game and find they’re down 2-0 to the fricking Nashville Predators. Joke.
All this team does to me is take my money and leave me disappointed.

Leafs at 50/50 contracts and Zary + Pachal hit waivers. Not ideal.
As much as people love Zary, Pachal would be an excellent claim as well. He’d bring some much needed grit and toughness to bottom-pair RD.
But all their eggs are in the Stecher + Blankenburg basket anyway.

John Tavares is just an easy target & scapegoat.
He’s always been slow, and yet put up 70+ Pts last season. @blueandwhite93 posted every 2C in the league the other day… sorry to say JT is still in that tier.
There’s also an 11.5M RW on that line who’s supposed to drive it.

It's early, but the Leafs urgently need to reverse this ugly year-long trend of losing so many divisional games.
@APetrielli's review: a great 2nd period, a really weak push in the 3rd, continued frustration with L2, odd coaching calls late & more 👇
