found 5 Iranian passports and 2 copies of mein kampf
BREAKING: The UK is investigating whether Iran was behind the suspected bomb plot against RAF Fairford, the US air base in England used for strikes on Iran, with sources close to the investigation saying Iranian agents are likely to have been directly involved rather than operating through proxies, per the Telegraph.
Five men were arrested under the Explosives Act and on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act after three suspicious vans were reported heading toward the base at 12:45 AM on Sunday, with homes in nearby Whelford evacuated and bomb disposal teams examining the vehicles. The base has also been raised to FPCON Delta, the highest US force protection level.
RAF Fairford hosts US Global Strike Command aircraft, and Britain allowed US planes based there to strike Iranian sites targeting ships in the Strait of Hormuz. In July the IRGC said "any base used for aggression against Iranian territory is a legitimate target for us," citing bomber flights from Fairford.
