BREAKING: Large numbers of oil tankers are now moving toward the Middle East as intense U.S. air activity builds around the Strait of Hormuz, coming directly after Iran’s Fars News reported that Washington is “normalising air activity around Iran” as part of an effort to preserve the element of surprise for a possible attack on Iran. The reported U.S. air activity comes as tanker attacks around the Strait hit their highest weekly level since the war began, with at least 12 incidents recorded between September 28 and October 5.

🇸🇩💢 RSF Drone strikes on Ed Damazin, capital of Sudan's southeastern Blue Nile state near the Ethiopian border, killed 4 women on Wednesday, Radio Dabanga reported. A mosque, a technical college and the state finance minister's home were also hit. 🔹A local civil society leader told Dabanga the victims were two members of one family and two neighbors. His group blamed the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary and its ally, the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North. 🔹 Finance Minister Molana Abbas Kara said on Facebook the RSF fired four missiles at his house from a "strategic drone," calling it a failed assassination attempt. No one was hurt. 🔹 Ed Damazin Technical College said two drones destroyed its labs, lecture halls and offices. 🔹The strikes come amid escalating fighting in Blue Nile between the RSF, its allies and the Sudanese army. More than 374,000 people have been displaced in the state.

Syria’s Leadership Are Considering Joining Saudi Arabia’s War On Yemen Both Reuters and Saudi media have claimed that Damascus is considering joining the war, which has killed around 400,000 people in Yemen. Syria was requested to send ground troops to aid in the fight, however it is more likely it will join as part of a coalition of nations that are deploying “defensive” forces & equipment to Saudi Arabia. Previously Syria had informed Damascus that it wasn’t able to send forces as it needed them at home, however, recent talks appear to have shifted its position according to reports.
