Country Club of Whispering Pines 1959 Ellis Maple design just got a full renovation from Kyle Franz, the sand hill wizard. The course has always had a great routing with tons of creative options off the tee but now the greens are the star of the show. It could have more false front square footage than no. 2. Very easily to see the similarities with Kyle’s work at Southen Pines Golf Club not far down the road. Such a fun round with great company. Awesome to have another great public option in the pinehurst area
