SPX: CULTURAL ZEITGEIST x TROJAN HORSE 💹🧲🐴 I have a BIG idea for increased SPX adoption and grounded credibility this cycle. I’ve been in a deep dive on 2 things: 1. Distilling the essential meaning of SPX into human terms that translate anywhere in the world—with zero jargon. 2. Developing a big idea that could help the movement reach FAR beyond the people who already know us. I found SPX in the midst of extreme emotional distress and utter loneliness. I was coping with heavy PTSD, with relatively little meaning in my life.  Then I’d open X and see a Cognispheric video or essay and be like, Holy. SHIT. These people fucking get it.  SPX was a life-raft for me. I think about those first encounters… And I think aeons just like me genuinely want more people to experience those same feelings that we all found when we realized what this thing is – feelings of real connection, hope, possibility… As Murad has said, people out there are starving for this. Reddit guys tell us they have what they’re “supposed to” (house, wife, kids, job) and feel deeply unfulfilled. That’s what our culture has produced.  People are exhausted by the corporatocracy. The powerful systems around us built to strip-mine our attention, data, money, and labor. 
The machinery’s gotten so enormous that the human consequences disappear from view.  A great dehumanization. And while “the system is broken,” people just adapt, compartmentalize, or numb. They don’t feel their own agency. Deep down we KNOW that better is possible. Everyone knows it. …So first, we just understood our target audience… (a thread🧵)

Wall Street pulled off one of the greatest marketing tricks in history: convincing long term investors that volatility is risk and leverage is reckless, then selling them an entire industry of “low volatility, uncorrelated returns” designed to solve the problem. For the vast majority of investors building wealth over decades, even brutal 50%+ drawdowns aren’t the enemy. Permanent loss of capital is. Avoiding responsible leverage, concentration and volatility at all costs means sacrificing enormous long term compounding just to make the ride feel smoother. The goal isn’t the smoothest path. It’s maximizing long term wealth without taking enough risk to blow yourself up.

Even if I haven't been very active online lately, I can't miss a chance to meet aeons IRL when I can. 6th SPX6900 Meetup: Paris yesterday (after Sète, Montpellier, London, Amsterdam and Barcelona). Thanks to @DaPonsy 🙏 We met 2 new aeons. One of them saw my post and spontaneously joined us without knowing anyone. He isn't active online, but he came anyway. @elpharys joined too, despite a bike issue on the other side of Paris 😅 Both had never met an aeon IRL, even though they've been holding SPX since 2024. Always the same experience when you meet aeons: good people, curious and passionate. It was planned from 1pm until 4pm, but we ended up talking about life and our experiences until almost 6pm… Of course, I gave them some gift cards so they can onboard new people. There are plenty of aeons like them: quiet online, haven't met others yet, but still believe in the movement. If that's you, join or organize a meetup in your city, you’ll never regret it 🪽❤️
