Well said! There are no shortcuts to health...
1/ Imagine your smoke alarm goes off at night. You can find the fire. Or you can pay for a weekly injection that silences the alarm while the house keeps burning. The second option is now the standard of care for metabolic disease: GLP-1s.

Is the US even an option? Why are we rating dispatchers from other continents?
Who has the best dispatchers? Poland? Pakistan? India? Bosnia? Kazakhstan? The debate is heating up, but what really matters is load quality, consistency, RPM and keeping trucks moving. Who gets your vote? #Trucking #Dispatching #Freight

SNEAK PEEK: LetsTruck Driveline — Invest Your Savings! One more mile per gallon could be worth over $1 million. Say you run 120,000 miles a year and go from 6 to 7 mpg. At $6.52 per gallon for diesel, that saves you about $18,600 a year. Most drivers spend that money without noticing. If you put it into an S&P 500 index fund instead, 20 years of historical-average returns could grow it past $1,000,000. Improving your fuel economy is smart business. Investing what you save builds wealth. The new Driveline calculator lets you: Stack the mpg improvements you're considering See what you'll save each year Watch what those savings could grow into when you invest them Your turn: What's your mpg right now, and what could one more mile per gallon grow into over 20 years? Run your numbers and post the total below.

SNEAK PEEK: LetsTruck Driveline Business Planning Calculators Customize for your MPG and speed. Owner-operators tell me slowing down costs money because you run fewer miles, or you work more hours for the same miles. Run the same 110,000 miles at 65 instead of 70. You save $6,701 in fuel. You work 121 more hours. That’s $55 an hour. Company drivers average about $28 an hour. Even if the extra hours feel like lost time, they pay almost double company wages in fuel you didn’t burn. If you can’t add the hours and miles drop a little, you’re still pocketing $1,340 a year for every mph you back off. Speed is one of the few costs you actually control. Is slowing down worth it in your operation?

Somebody help me out here. It seems like the "Whiner Class" in trucking is very anti-business and anti-capitalist. They want to ban: Brokers The ATA Truck Parking Club Mega Carriers... I'm sure there is more. They seem to be far more concerned about other businesses. Maybe they should put a little more effort into their own. What am I missing?

How do you abolish a professional organization/association?
What will the workforce of tomorrow look like in trucking? If I had my way, the ATA would be abolished.

If you want to be a social media influencer or an advocate, you should probably understand the things you are attempting to advocate for: This is an ignorant proposal. That's not how a free market works at all. Rates are determined by supply and demand Supply = the number of trucks, trailers, and drivers available with hours Demand = the amount of freight being shipped in the system or lane Fuel is also based on supply and demand; prices are climbing because supply is short. Fuel price affects spot market rates, but tying the two costs together is ignorant and makes no sense.
Replying to @lets_truck
What we need is for the rates to be the same as the price per gallon of fuel. So if diesel is seven dollars per gallon then that load should be seven dollars per mile🔥🔥

It's sad that humans can no longer go for just a couple of hours without food. I remember thinking and acting like this. I'm so glad I no longer need to engage in this nonsense.
Before our first date, she texted, “I’m wearing green, and I’ve brought emergency cheese.” She arrived with six string cheeses in her purse. Apparently she gets irritable when hungry and didn’t trust the restaurant’s portion sizes. Dinner was fine, but halfway through dessert the building’s fire alarm went off. We stood outside for 25 minutes while firefighters checked the kitchen. She silently handed out string cheese to strangers. Nobody questioned it. One firefighter took two. We’ve been dating for nearly a year, and she still carries emergency cheese everywhere. I used to tease her about it. Then our flight got delayed for five hours. I don’t ask questions anymore.

Sneak peek at the new fuel mileage calculator. One example is "low-rolling-resistance tires"; another is "slowing down". Would you use a tool like this?

The Fuel Surcharge should be 88 cents per mile based on today's diesel price. My first contract in 1986 paid 73 cents per mile total.

If fuel were $1.25 at the pump, the spot market rate would be $2.17 a mile. Owner-operators are threatening to strike. Can anyone supporting a strike show their numbers and the profit per mile at $2.17/mile rates with $1.25 fuel? I'm wondering why single-truck owners are struggling.
