How I'd vote in upcoming/current elections: ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท - Lula ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ - Student List ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ - Joint List (the country is so lost โ€” creating a massive deadlock in Israeli politics is already win) ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ - Democrats in every single election ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ - PSOE ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ - Labour ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑHilversum local elections - PRO (but not for myself๐Ÿ˜‰)

Council elections are next May. Doubt I'll campaign for the Edinburgh Lib Dems again if they continue their opposition to the Roseburn path. Shame really. A lot of very good people, some that I know personally. But a very stupid position on a vital project.
Will ROSEBURN PATH tram plan be thrown out on Thursday? Thread ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

Opportunity Party might be the best political party in the world right now. Abundance liberalism funded via a land value tax, with a clear message of system change. This is what the Lib Dems should emulate.
9 new taxes with Labour and their mates, or no new taxes with National. Keep more of what you earn with National.

A few accounts on here who I respected have disappointed me with their reaction to this story. Using a story of sexual assault to do more democratic factional warfare is just not it, have some shame.

In 2018 both England and Belgium sent out their B team because the knockout path for finishing second was easier But now it's a problem with the 48 team format apparently...
France vs Norway is showing why an expanded World Cup is a waste of time and kills the excitement. This was supposed to be a great The winner of this game wins their group, but Norway sent out their B squad to rest for the R32. If this was being played to win their group with the traditional tournament the Winner would play Ivory Coast while the loser would play Brazil. Instead the winner plays a 3rd place team and the loser plays Ivory Coast. Both on a crash course with either Germany or Brazil in the R16.

The thing is every one of these prime ministers deserved to go when they did. So the real question is why does Britain keep selecting awful Prime Ministers and how can we change that?
No major European country changes leaders this often.

for me it's two main reasons 1) Party membership is pretty shit at selecting the right leader 2) Parliament is designed to elect good local representatives, not necessarily good leaders. (Labour had to bring someone from out of parliament to be leader because of this problem!)

Living in Oslo at the moment and honestly the biggest mental shock of being here is that there is just no night in the summer. It gets slightly dark for a couple hours and that's it. I can't imagine how depressing winter is.
i think itโ€™ll alter my brain chemistry when i witness this amount of daylight in the night
