Sunday Thoughts with Beav Opinions. I was listening to “Stressed Out,” and it got me thinking about how much of our lives we spend worrying about what other people think. We care about comments on social media, how many likes we get, whether people approve of our choices, and whether we look successful enough. We compare our lives to people we barely know and work so hard to impress people who may not even truly know us. But none of that determines who we are. What matters is how we treat people when no one is watching. Are we kind? Are we honest? Do we show up for the people we love? Do we take responsibility for our mistakes and keep trying to grow? At the end of the day, your relationship with yourself matters more than the opinions of strangers. You should be able to look in the mirror and feel proud, not because everyone likes you, but because you know your heart, your intentions, and the person you are becoming. People will always have opinions. Let them. Focus less on being impressive and more on being genuine. Be a good person. Live by your values. Make choices you can be proud of. The loudest approval you’ll ever need should come from within. $TGT $BULL $HTFL $SPY $WMT #personalgrowth

🍽️ DAILY HEALTH TIP, SLOW DOWN YOUR MEALS How fast you eat can matter almost as much as what you eat. Your stomach may fill quickly, but the signals involved in fullness and satisfaction take time to develop. When you eat very quickly, it can be easier to consume more food before you fully recognize that you’ve had enough. Slowing down can help you: 🧠 Notice fullness cues sooner 🍽️ Eat more mindfully and enjoy your food 😌 Feel more satisfied with your meal 🌿 Give your digestive system a more gradual workload ⚖️ Support healthy portion awareness over time Try something simple, put your fork down between a few bites, chew thoroughly, and avoid rushing through your meal. You don’t need to count every chew or turn eating into another rule. If you normally finish a meal in 5 or 10 minutes, try stretching it closer to 15 to 20 minutes and notice how you feel.

Most traders don’t lose because of bad entries. They lose because they size like they’re right and manage like they’re scared. What’s the actual rule that stopped you from blowing up?

🎵 DAILY HEALTH TIP, USE MUSIC TO CHANGE YOUR MOOD Music does more than entertain you, it can actually shift how you feel and how your body responds. Your brain processes music through networks involved in emotion, reward, attention, memory, and movement. That’s why one song can instantly energize you, calm you down, or bring back a memory you haven’t thought about in years. 🎶 Need motivation? Upbeat music can increase arousal and may make exercise feel easier. 🧘 Need to decompress? Slower, calming music can help create a more relaxed state and may reduce perceived stress. 💪 Working out? Music can improve enjoyment and, in some situations, help performance by distracting from fatigue and helping you maintain rhythm. 🧠 Feeling stuck mentally? Instead of choosing music that matches your current mood, try choosing music that matches the mood you want to create. Think of your playlist as another tool in your wellness routine. ✨ Bottom line, don’t underestimate what a few songs can do. Sometimes changing your state starts with changing your soundtrack. 🎧 This song always gets me pumped open.spotify.com/track/43psR…

Are you addicted to trading? Guilty 🙋‍♀️
Stop it. Get some help. There is no rule that three A+ setups print daily. A week off is fine. Mediocrity after two quiet days is not discipline. Anticipate the HTF hunt. Don’t react to boredom. Save this for later. $SPY

🚶 DAILY HEALTH TIP, TAKE A WALK AFTER YOU EAT One of the simplest things you can do after a meal is move your body for 10 to 15 minutes. When you eat carbohydrates, they’re broken down into glucose, which enters your bloodstream. When your muscles contract during a walk, they can increase their uptake of glucose, helping reduce the size of the post meal blood sugar rise. And it doesn’t need to be a workout. Research suggests that short bouts of movement after meals can improve post meal glucose control, and walking soon after eating may be particularly useful. You can also break it up. A 10 minute walk after each major meal gives you roughly 30 extra minutes of movement by the end of the day without needing another formal workout. This doesn’t mean you need to “burn off” what you just ate. Think of it as giving your muscles an opportunity to use some of the fuel that’s entering your bloodstream.

“You can’t heal in the same patterns that keep hurting you.” This applies to trading just as much as it does to life. When it comes to trading, there are still a few bad habits that continue to bring me back to square one, oversizing, not cutting my losers, and impulsivity. The frustrating part is that I know these patterns. I can recognize them, I can explain why they hurt my account, and yet knowing better doesn’t automatically mean doing better. That’s where discipline comes in. Self awareness is recognizing the pattern. Growth is choosing a different response. A losing trade doesn’t have to become a big loss. An opportunity doesn’t require an oversized position. And seeing movement on a chart doesn’t mean I need to react to it. The goal isn’t to become a trader who never makes mistakes. It’s to stop making the same expensive mistakes over and over again. Awareness shows you the cycle. Discipline is what breaks it.

🍎 DAILY HEALTH TIP, DON’T PEEL AWAY THE GOOD STUFF Before automatically peeling your fruits and veggies, think twice. The skin of many fruits and vegetables contains extra fiber, vitamins, minerals, and powerful plant compounds called polyphenols. Keeping edible skins can help support: 🌱 Gut health and digestion 🩸 Healthy blood sugar regulation ❤️ Heart health 😋 Fullness and satiety 🛡️ Antioxidant intake Those colorful outer layers aren’t just packaging, they’re often some of the most nutrient dense parts of the plant. So when the peel is edible, wash it well and consider keeping it on. Sometimes the healthiest part is the part you’re throwing away. 🍎🥔🥒

🥥 Daily Health Tip: Coconut Aminos Coconut aminos are a tasty alternative to soy sauce, made from coconut blossom sap and salt. Despite the name, they don’t provide a meaningful amount of amino acids or protein, but they can still be a useful swap. They’re naturally soy-free and gluten-free, usually taste slightly sweeter and less salty than traditional soy sauce, and many brands contain less sodium than regular soy sauce, although sodium can still add up quickly. Easy ways to use it: stir-fries, marinades, rice bowls, roasted veggies, salad dressings, or as a dipping sauce.

Trading teaches you through wins AND losses. Obviously, the losses can be more impactful due to the emotional and financial hit you take. But analyzing your wins should also bring you quite a bit of insight. Losses taught me risk management. Position sizing/ Protecting capital. To Wait for best set-up. Don’t chase every move. Wins taught me patience on my entries. To trust the setup. Analysis on which set setups provide the best most reliable return. To give it time to play out. To Buy time. To Buy shares, and take profit into momentum. You should learn from every trade.
If you’re a trader, know this You only learn from your losses
