Last point on the Lindsay Clancy trial for today: There is no excuse for strangling three innocent children to death with exercise bands.

Why do so many women constantly see themselves as victims? If a man admitted to strangling his three children with exercise bands, would you also give him a pass?

Perhaps, instead of focusing on mental health, we should re-examine how we view human life as a society. When you start devaluing a child in the womb, that dehumanization doesn’t stay there.

If we treat mental illness as a free pass for murder, we don’t help the sick. We abandon the dead. And the consequences won’t be pretty. Nearly 60 million Americans experience mental illness every year, and 15 million have a serious one. A few thousand women get postpartum psychosis.

The cavalier attitude from Lindsay Clancy’s attorney disgusts me.
