They broke up because the relationship was flawed and tense, especially after Barbie got fired
But nevertheless, this was indeed a somewhat committed relationship at LEAST
I think them breaking up is not bad at all. It’s not “wasted potential” neither a “disregard for sapphic relationships”. I read it as a way to know Barbie better as a character.
