Europe died in Auschwitz. The following an article by Spanish writer Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez and published on Jan. 15, 2008. It could apply equally to France, Britain, Germany and much of Western Europe today. " I walked down the street in Barcelona, and suddenly discovered a terrible truth — Europe died in Auschwitz. We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a culture, thought, creativity, talent. We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who changed the world. The contribution of this people is felt in all areas of life: science, art, international trade, and above all as the conscience of the world. These are the people we burned. And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the disease of racism, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride. They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime. Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts. And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition. We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for a better future for their children, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs. What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe."

Has James Talarico checked into a mental health facility as reported by Twitchy and Spencer Pratt? His campaign says he has been recovering from the flu. A nearly two-week absence during a critical Senate campaign raises questions. Voters deserve transparency and factual answers. If he has checked into a facility that should disqualify him from the race.

Israel's Greatest Generation The Hamas massacre of October 7, 2023 was one of the darkest days in Israel’s history. It also revealed what may become Israel’s Greatest Generation. Aner Shapira, 22, stood at the entrance to a shelter at the Nova festival and threw back grenade after grenade hurled by terrorists, saving others before he was killed. Inbal Rabin-Lieberman helped organize the defense of Kibbutz Nir Am, which escaped the devastation suffered by neighboring communities. Awad Darawshe, a 23-year-old Arab Israeli paramedic, stayed behind at Nova to treat the wounded rather than flee. He was murdered while trying to save others. Rachel Edri, held hostage in her Ofakim home, kept Hamas gunmen talking for hours—serving them tea and cookies—until police rescued her and her husband. Menachem and Elchanan Kalmanson repeatedly drove into Kibbutz Be’eri under fire to rescue trapped residents. Elchanan was killed during the mission. Yossi Landau of ZAKA rushed toward the carnage, treated the wounded and then spent weeks helping recover and identify the dead so families could bury them with dignity. These were not generals or politicians. They were ordinary Israelis confronted with extraordinary evil. October 7 exposed catastrophic failures. But it also revealed extraordinary courage, sacrifice and solidarity. That is why the generation forged on that day may ultimately be remembered as Israel’s Greatest Generation.

Hasan Piker, who said that America deserved 9/11, told a University of Texas crowd that if James Talarico wins the Texas Senate seat, the left that backed him will own the job. Piker said Talarico has to be held to account so he does not become a “do nothing Democrat.” Then he said the quiet part: “We are the force that allowed him to win this seat of power and if he wants to maintain it, he’s got to play ball.” The work, he added, is not done after election day. Mass organizing is the leash. Piker’s record — “America deserved 9/11,” and praise for a Mamdani aide who said she wanted to “impoverish the White middle class” — and treats the line as the radical left saying a moderate-looking Texas Democrat would govern on their terms. Republicans, including Steve Scalise, clipped it the same way: a Democratic majority would be beholden to people like Piker.

U.S. Central Command has opened Hormuz to everyone but Iran. Kpler puts traffic at 14.2 million barrels a day, close to the prewar 17 million. What’s missing is Iranian oil, stopped by the blockade. Saudi crude is moving around the Strait through Yanbu. Bessent says Tehran’s last pre-blockade barrels reach China in mid-October. The UAE has cut trade. Turkey is closing Iranian banks. Flights are being suspended. The rial just broke 2.5 million to the dollar. Iran can still hit ships and Gulf infrastructure. It no longer holds the Strait. The job now is to keep the pressure until the nuclear program, or the regime, is finished. WSJ

Teachers’ unions are antithetical to good education. A new analysis by Rachel Canter at the Progressive Policy Institute (PPI), a left leaning think tank, finds that states with stronger unions have weaker reading scores and have adopted fewer early-literacy reforms. Mississippi, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Indiana—redder states, weaker unions—lead. Maine, New York, Illinois, Hawaii, Washington, and Rhode Island lag badly. Blue states adopted only 9 of 18 ExcelinEd-style reading policies on average; red and purple states more 13.5--50% higher than blue states. The policies that raise reading scores are phonics, early screening for weak readers, holding some third-graders back until they can read, and throwing out “balanced literacy.” Unions fight those rules because they constrain how teachers are trained, evaluated, and assigned. Mississippi imposed them anyway and scores rose dramatically. Strong-union states did not. That is why the veto, not the slogan, decides whether children learn to read. Get rid of Teachers Unions!!!

Remembering September 11-343 NY fire fighters died On this day we remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who ran into the World Trade Center while everyone else ran out. Stephen Siller was off duty in Brooklyn, headed to golf with his brothers. He heard the call, threw his gear in the truck, got stopped at the closed tunnel, strapped on 60 pounds of equipment, and *ran* through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel toward the towers. A father of five. He never came home. Chief Orio Palmer, Battalion 7, did not wait for an elevator that would never come--he repaired one himself and reached the 48th floor. He climbed the South Tower stairs in full gear, reached the 78th-floor sky lobby—the impact zone—and radioed that he had found a working elevator and viable civilians, and that his men were attacking the fire. He got higher than almost anyone. He died there, still working the job. They faced the Islamist murderers who hijacked airliners packed with fuel and civilians and flew them into the towers that day—men who wanted a massacre: Mohamed Atta. Satam al-Suqami. Waleed al-Shehri. Wail al-Shehri. Abdulaziz al-Omari. Marwan al-Shehhi. Fayez Banihammad. Mohand al-Shehri. Hamza al-Ghamdi. Ahmed al-Ghamdi. May their names be damned. Say the firefighters’ names with the highest honor. May their memories be a blessing. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9--343 FDNY brave fire fighters sacrificed their lives to save other Americans. Heroes, every one of them.

"Let's Roll" --Remembering September 11 On Flight 93 they had minutes, butter knives, and a phone line. Todd Beamer prayed the Lord’s Prayer and said, “Let’s roll.” Jeremy Glick (Jewish btw) told his wife they were going to rush the cockpit. Tom Burnett and Mark Bingham were in that same vote. Ordinary men—sales, PR, a new father, a church volunteer—decided they would die on their feet so Washington would not. Across the aisle were Ziad Jarrah, Ahmed al-Haznawi, Ahmed al-Nami, and Saeed al-Ghamdi. They boarded with a plan: murder the crew, fly a loaded jet into the Capitol or the White House. One side charged the door. The other side had already chosen slaughter. In the ensuing struggle, the plane went down in a Pennsylvania field. The Capitol and the White House still stand. Remember the names of the men who ran forward, Todd Beamer, Jeremy Glick, Tom Burnett and Mark Bingham. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.” (Psalm 23:4). May their memories be a blessing. "Let’s roll."

University of Michigan Drops First-Semester Grades to ‘Curb Mental Health Crisis’ The University of Michigan’s decision to drop first-semester grades is pure coddling. By treating ordinary academic pressure as a mental health crisis, elite universities produce graduates who never face real failure or competition. Many of these students, especially women who now dominate selective campuses, pursue expensive degrees with weak economic returns. Meanwhile, pipe fitters, oil drillers, electricians, and graduates of lesser schools often out-earn them with practical skills and stronger labor-market results. The gap is real and growing. This mismatch breeds bitter resentment. When high-status credentials fail to deliver high-status outcomes, the political response is "I want want they have"-- socialism. The same demographic of progressive, highly educated women at liberal universities is also driving demographic collapse through delayed family formation and ultra-low fertility. Coddling does not create resilience. It creates economically fragile, politically radicalized graduates who demand redistribution when reality refuses to validate their outsized expectations. Michigan’s policy is a small symptom of a much larger cultural failure. wsj.com/us-news/education/un…

Almost any 21 year old can get rich in America! With a little planning and the willingness to delay gratification, almost anyone in America can build real wealth. The secret isn't a hot stock, insider information, or some get-rich-quick scheme. It's starting early and letting compound interest do the heavy lifting. Imagine a 21-year-old opens a Roth IRA and contributes the annual maximum—currently $7,500 (it will grow). Every dollar grows tax-free, and every dollar you withdraw in retirement is tax-free. Now invest those contributions in a low-cost S&P 500 index fund like Vanguard's VOO, which has an expense ratio of just 0.03%. Historically, the S&P 500 has returned about 11.5% annually over the long term. Contribute $7,500 every year until age 70, and based on that historical return, your Roth IRA could grow to roughly $15 million. No tricks. No scams. No market timing. Just disciplined investing, low fees, and decades of compounding. After 40+ years of investing this is my best advice.

Anti Semitism under Mamdani since he took office: NYPD data shows 178 confirmed antisemitic hate crimes in the first half of the year — 55% of all hate crimes and 41 cases in May alone. July 23: A man yelling “Allahu Akbar” stabbed a visibly Jewish man on the Upper West Side. Charged as a hate crime. March 7: Two men attempted to detonate TATP explosives near Gracie Mansion during protests. Charged with ISIS-inspired terrorism and material support. Meanwhile, Mamdani’s new 18-member Advisory Committee on the Judiciary — tasked with recommending judges — has zero Jewish members, despite the fact that 50% of lawyers in New York are Jewish. If selection was random, the odds of this are ~300,000 to 1. He's a rabid anti semite. Watch his actions, not his Taqqiya words.

El-Sayed is not merely another progressive critic of the US. His record reveals something darker. He treats America as the root of the world’s problems and excuses those who attack it. When a Hezbollah-linked terrorist, Ayman Ghazali — whose brother was a Hezbollah commander — rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, intent on slaughtering Jewish children, El-Sayed’s response was telling. He offered the obligatory condemnation, then immediately explained the attack away with the phrase “hurt people hurt people,” blaming Israeli actions in Lebanon for the bloodlust of a jihadist in Michigan. This is a moral inversion — the classic Hezbollah playbook of rationalizing the murder of Jews as “resistance.” El-Sayed has campaigned with open antisemites, including Hasan Piker, employed staff later charged in anti-Jewish intimidation campaigns (Mariam Odeh), and treats Israel’s existence as the original sin that justifies violence against American Jews. His sister is a full on terror supporter- Eman Abdelhadi. Michigan voters should see him as a marxist Hezbollah operative in a lab coat. ps he's not a doctor--no medical license, no patients. pps he hasn't filed his financial disclosures. ppps he ran a dog shelter that killed 95% of its charges and when confronted by the press tried to censor it. pppps --he used 85% of his campaign funds from his last campaign for personal use. Other than that, great guy.

"A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but in his heart he harbors deceit. Though his speech is charming, do not believe him... His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly." Proverbs 26:24-26 Everything about Graham Platner appears to be a carefully crafted fabrication. His “working-class Marine patriot” image, oyster farmer credentials, and everyman persona crumble under scrutiny: elite private-school education, privileged family background, bilking taxpayers of nearly $5,000/month in disability benefits, and an oyster operation whose only disclosed client was his mother’s restaurant. Add the Nazi SS Totenkopf tattoo and his keyboard courage mocking wounded veterans like Teddy Daniels — and the poseur act is complete. Why Democrats nominated this “Tim Walz-on-steroids” fraud — other than the fact that he looks the part of the working-class man the party used to actually support — is truly baffling.

Stranglehold and Leverage: How the U.S. Holds the Upper Hand on Iran🇺🇸 The U.S. holds huge leverage over Iran through a mix of military dominance and sustained economic pressure. By forcing Tehran to choose between its nuclear ambitions and domestic stability, the strategy exploits Iran’s already fragile economy, marked by currency collapse, shortages, and rising unrest. Continued sanctions and blockade measures are worsening unemployment, inflation, and internal strain. At the same time, leaving room for negotiations deepens divisions within Iran’s leadership, especially after the loss of a unifying figure. Militarily, the U.S. has demonstrated overwhelming force while deliberately sparing civilian infrastructure. This restraint preserves key assets as bargaining chips, offering Iran an incentive to de-escalate while signaling that further escalation remains an option if needed. The black market rate for the the Iranian Rial to the USD is now 1.6 million to one, inflation is over 100% per year, unemployment is at 20%--yes, you read that right.
