ok this took me a while to figure out, so in case its helpful for someone else . . . claude tag is entirely credit-based (no subscription usage included) in slack CHANNELS but in DMs it works under your individual slack team subscription so you can set up data integrations etc and your team can DM claude and slack and get answers
