WHY $ALB LOOKS LIKE A STEAL TO ME: → Trading at just ~9x forward P/E → Wall Street's consensus price target: $165 (+69% upside) → Institutional ownership stands at an incredible ~93–98%, the smart money is heavily invested → Backed by the U.S. government with ~$240M to domestic lithium projects → Global lithium demand is expected to more than triple by 2040 From a technical perspective, I expect $ALB to form a bottom over the coming weeks. My mid-term upside target lies between $257 and $363. As long as the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement at $86.15 holds, my bullish scenario remains valid.

TR’s Investment Insights | HCA: Why do I remain bullish on the medium-term investment value of this trade? Hello everyone, I’m TR. Yesterday, I shared my investment plan for HCA Healthcare, specifically outlining a buy range of $455–$460 and interim target prices of $495–$535. Today, taking advantage of the time after the market close, I’d like to discuss why I chose HCA and why I believe this company warrants serious consideration in the current market environment.(More content in the comments section)

💡✅*VII. RT’s Final Perspective* I maintain a positive outlook on HCA, not because I believe the stock is immune to falling. Rather, it is because *the company possesses operational fundamentals that can be analyzed and verified, alongside an opportunity for valuation recovery driven by improved future earnings expectations*. I want everyone to understand that *investment confidence should not stem from someone else's assurances, but from a thorough understanding of the business operations, valuation, risks, and potential returns*. *For members who have already entered this trade, we will continue to monitor subsequent operational data and market developments*. *For those who have not yet participated, there is no need to blindly chase the price higher or over-leverage simply out of a fear of missing out*. *Truly valuable investment decisions involve forming a well-founded judgment before the market delivers its final verdict, while simultaneously preparing for the possibility of being wrong*. This is the investment philosophy I hope to cultivate with all of you over the long term. —— RT

📆*VI. Regarding Our Trading Plan* The previously announced plan remains the reference framework for this analysis: Stock: HCA Healthcare *Original Buy Range: $455–$460* *Interim Targets: $495–$535* Reference for Initial Capital Allocation: *30% of available cash* *Please note* that this 30% figure is a reference allocation and does not represent a one-size-fits-all position size for every account. *For investors with larger portfolios, I place particular emphasis on overall account risk, the concentration of existing holdings, and potential price gaps surrounding earnings announcements.* HCA is scheduled to hold its third-quarter earnings call on *October 27*. This will be a critical juncture for validating our investment thesis.
64
⚠️ *IV. Some Wall Street firms have also recently raised their valuation expectations for HCA* On October 6, Jefferies raised its price target for HCA from $450 to $500, maintaining a "Buy" rating. On October 7, RBC Capital raised its price target from $435 to $496, maintaining an "Outperform" rating. *These price targets are relatively close to the lower end of the $495–$535 range we proposed*. This does not imply that a consensus bullish view has emerged on Wall Street; in fact, significant divergence remains among different firms. However, it is evident that *some institutions are reassessing HCA’s future operational outlook and valuation potential*.
62
♻️*III. Why do I believe the market might be reassessing HCA?* I have always held the view that *investment opportunities do not necessarily arise when market sentiment is universally optimistic*. Often, the opportunities truly worth investigating stem from the market repricing a company based on the tension between short-term operational challenges and long-term business value. HCA previously faced earnings pressure due to a rising proportion of uninsured patients, shifts in the healthcare reimbursement structure, and a decline in surgical volumes. Consequently, the company lowered its full-year earnings guidance for 2026. These issues are real and cannot be ignored. However, the key question is: Will these pressures continue to worsen, or will they gradually ease through cost controls, operational adjustments, and improvements in the patient mix? If future financial reports indicate that operational pressures are stabilizing, HCA could see a valuation reassessment. *This is precisely the core investment thesis behind my interest in HCA: seeking out companies where the operational foundation remains intact, yet the market is currently reassessing their earnings outlook.*
26
*♻️II. My confidence in HCA stems primarily from its genuine operational capabilities.* HCA is not a company whose valuation relies on speculative future business concepts. It possesses a mature hospital operating system, with operations directly addressing healthcare needs in the United States. In the second quarter of 2026, the company generated revenue of $20.23 billion, an increase of 8.7% year-over-year. Adjusted EBITDA reached $4.027 billion, up 4.6% year-over-year. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at $7.62, representing an 11.6% year-over-year increase. These figures demonstrate that, despite facing operational pressures, the company has maintained substantial profitability. Notably, the company continued its share repurchase program during the second quarter, buying back approximately $2.064 billion worth of stock. As of the end of June, the company retained approximately $7.21 billion in authorized capacity for share repurchases. *In my view, these operational metrics and capital allocation activities provide a substantive basis for analyzing HCA.* However, share repurchases do not guarantee a rise in the stock price; we must still assess whether the repurchase price is reasonable and determine whether debt levels and cash flow can support long-term capital allocation.
58
♻️I. Market dynamics are shifting; we need to identify companies with a genuine foundation for profitability. On October 13, all three major U.S. stock indices posted slight declines. The S&P 500 fell 0.02%, the Nasdaq dropped 0.15%, and the Dow Jones declined 0.35%. The semiconductor sector remained under pressure as the market began to re-evaluate the valuations and capital expenditures of certain technology companies. In this environment, I believe investors should place greater emphasis on a company's actual ability to generate profit and cash flow, rather than simply chasing market trends. HCA rose 0.47% that day, closing at $460.75 and outperforming the three major indices. While this does not guarantee future gains, it demonstrates that HCA maintained relative resilience on a day when the broader market was weak.

Latest US Stock Market Updates | Market Insights and Key Investment Focus for Next Week Hello everyone, I’m RT. In recent times, the US. stock market has been continuously influenced by factors such as interest rate expectations, developments in the AI industry, and corporate earnings performance. As the third-quarter earnings season gets underway, investors are increasingly focused on whether companies can meet growth expectations and whether current valuations are supported by actual financial results. Today, we will review key market developments worth watching, covering the macroeconomy, the AI industry, specific stocks of interest, and important events scheduled for the coming week.

💡 RT’s Market Summary Based on recent developments, there are three key areas worth monitoring in the current market: Macro Level: Interest rate expectations and inflation trends remain critical; investors should closely track upcoming economic data. Industry Level: While demand for AI infrastructure warrants attention, actual corporate profitability and valuations are equally important. Stock Level: Different sectors are affected differently by costs, demand, and operating environments; stock value cannot be assessed solely based on revenue growth or trending themes. In the face of market volatility, we should neither become overly pessimistic due to short-term corrections nor overlook potential risks simply because of a sector's growth prospects. What truly matters is understanding the logic behind market shifts, focusing on the actual performance of corporate fundamentals, and formulating a sound plan based on your own investment horizon, capital allocation, and risk tolerance.

4️⃣ SpaceX | Attention on Satellite Communication Business Expansion SpaceX reportedly plans to expand its mobile communication operations by leveraging spectrum resources and direct-to-cell satellite services; this news has sparked market discussions regarding potential shifts in the competitive landscape of the U.S. telecommunications industry. Future developments—including deal specifics, regulatory conditions, and the actual pace of service deployment—warrant close monitoring. These reports should not be interpreted as an indication that full commercial deployment has already been achieved. 5️⃣ Starbucks (SBUX) and Chipotle (CMG) | Rumors of Potential Acquisition Await Confirmation Media reports indicate that Starbucks explored the possibility of acquiring Chipotle, though neither party has formally confirmed a deal. Starbucks stated that it remains focused on advancing its own business transformation. Future updates should be based on official company announcements.

III. Key Stock News 1️⃣ Delta Air Lines (DAL) | Record revenue, but earnings outlook lowered Delta Air Lines reported record third-quarter revenue of $17.6 billion; however, adjusted earnings per share (EPS) came in at $1.72, missing the market expectation of $1.77. The company also lowered its full-year adjusted EPS guidance. Management cited rising jet fuel costs as a source of pressure on full-year profitability. 2️⃣ Apple (AAPL) | Rumors of order adjustments for iPhone 18 Pro series draw attention Reports suggest Apple may be asking some suppliers to cut component orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. Potential reasons include rising memory chip costs, shifting consumer demand, or adjustments to product launch schedules. These reports await further confirmation; investors should monitor official announcements from Apple, changes in supply chain orders, and the company's latest financial performance. 3️⃣ GlobalFoundries (GFS) and TSMC (TSM) | Silicon interposer supply agreement in focus GlobalFoundries and TSMC have reportedly reached a five-year supply agreement for silicon interposers, valued at approximately $2 billion. 2️⃣ Lumentum faces tight production capacity; AI optical communication demand in focus As technology companies continue to invest in AI data center construction, demand for optical communication products and related optoelectronic components remains robust. Lumentum has indicated that capacity for certain optoelectronic products is already severely constrained, with supply pressures likely to persist for the next few years. This news keeps the spotlight on the AI data center infrastructure supply chain—spanning high-speed optical communications, semiconductors, and related equipment. However, investors should still evaluate the situation by considering actual company orders, capacity expansion costs, and valuations.

II. 🤖 Latest Developments in the AI Industry 1️⃣ OpenAI’s revenue projections draw attention; AI commercialization enters a critical observation phase Market discussion regarding OpenAI’s revenue growth and future fundraising plans has recently intensified. Previously disclosed data indicates that OpenAI’s annualized revenue stood at approximately $50 billion as of the end of September, with projections suggesting it could reach or exceed $70 billion by year-end. It is important to note that annualized revenue is an annual figure extrapolated from revenue over a specific period; it does not equate to actual full-year revenue realized. As the AI industry expands, the market is shifting its focus beyond mere revenue growth to place greater emphasis on commercialization capabilities, cash flow, financing needs, and long-term profitability prospects.

2. Global PC shipments decline; consumer electronics industry faces demand challenges According to preliminary data released by IDC, global PC shipments in the third quarter of 2026 totaled approximately 62.7 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 20.1%. This marks the second consecutive quarter of decline. Factors contributing to this trend include supply chain adjustments, early stocking, and the pull-forward of demand. Moving forward, key points to watch include when PC demand will stabilize and whether changes in memory chip costs and inventory levels will further impact the profitability of relevant companies.

I. Macro Environment: Interest Rate Expectations and Capital Flows Warrant Attention Recently, Goldman Sachs revised its outlook on the Federal Reserve's future interest rate hike trajectory, while a Bank of America report indicated that significant capital is flowing into money market funds. These developments highlight two issues currently facing the market: on one hand, uncertainty regarding interest rate policy persists; on the other, some investors are opting to hold cash temporarily while awaiting clearer market signals. Should inflation remain persistently higher than expected, market concerns regarding sustained high interest rates could intensify. However, increased inflows into money market funds do not necessarily signal a stock market decline; future assessments must also consider economic data, corporate earnings, and market trends. Meanwhile, US-Iran relations and the situation in Ukraine also merit ongoing attention. Shifts in the geopolitical landscape could impact energy prices, corporate costs, and investor sentiment. Therefore, at this stage, one should not gauge market direction based on a single news item; instead, it is advisable to comprehensively monitor changes in interest rate expectations, capital flows, and corporate fundamentals.

RT’s Investment Class | Smart Trading: Three Stages of Growth from Average Investor to Mature Trader Today, I’d like to discuss a question well worth considering: Why is it that, while participating in the same US stock market, some investors are constantly just "looking for opportunities," whereas others are able to gradually build a trading edge of their own? Is it due to differences in capital size? Trading experience? Or perhaps the mastery of a specific technical indicator? In my view, what truly determines an investor's long-term performance isn't how much profit was made on a single trade; rather, it is the underlying investment framework, the ability to assess the market, and the capacity to consistently make high-quality trading decisions.
