Gaming needs a third party entity to take over creating physical game discs🚀
Criterion does that with film, video games need something similar, whether they make those in limited quantities, special packaging, direct to customer worldwide delivery, it would have quite a big market.
If Sony doesn’t wanna do it, someone else should and there will be millions of us who pay for those.
They could even release a special edition at the end of a game’s cycle including all patches so that you wouldn’t ever need to download anything.
