What an absolute waste of time, money and resources, at numerous levels!
@MaryPeltola, @DanSullivan_AK, @NickforAlaska, all other politicians and political groups, please do better! No one wants this garbage in their mailbox, in their email, on their TV or on their phone.
If you truly want to sway voters, try taking all of the money you are wasting on garbage like this, and actually use it to help the communities and meet the needs of those whose votes you are so desperate to capture.

It is finally starting to cool off here at home, and yet, I go looking for Rascal and soon after receive a communique that he is in the heat of "The Jungle".
What does this mean? How would I know? It could be anything with this animal.
All I could make out was, "Hey, I hate to cut it short but their closing in and while the drones are not as effective in this heavy canopy these barefoot bums can sure be a nasty fight on the ground. Sal is ready and the fuses are set, gotta go light'em up boss! Hey! *Radio Crackle* take the FN, it's ready to go and hot to trot!"
Before I can get out the second half of "WTH?" I hear rifle reports and he hangs up.
Well, all I can figure is he has gotten himself neck deep in jungle trouble with his buddy Sal. Rascal has been in worse scrapes before. He'll make it back, for sure.

Today I did something I rarely do. I turned down a fishing trip, not becauese I wanted to, but because I needed to. Weekends during the Fall are great, but during this time everyone in Alaska knows that old-man Winter is headed our way. Due to this, I took the day to work on a few projects in preparation for the snow and cold temps that will be here before you know it.
We started the morning by removing the old trim seals around the garage door and replacing them with newer seals. Thanks to dad for the assist with these. Then we moved on to spreading and packing a fresh load of gravel on part of the driveway, before raking the rest of it with the tractor. Shout to my friend James for the assist with that! Afterwards, I took down and put away all of the flower pots from the summer, before rinsing off the porch and scrubbing the steps with soap and a brush to remove some algae that accumulated and made the steps very slippery.
Once that was finished, I spent some time under the house making sure the vents were closed, sealed and verifying everything was in good order. I finished off the day, by adding a frame around my crawlspace entry door, to hopefully help minimize cold air entry points.
Would I have rather been fishing… Yes!
Did it feel good to get all of these projects finished up before the snow begins to fall… Also Yes!

The more you know..:
Spam is cooked inside the can. The raw meat mixture goes into the can and the can is sealed. Then the whole thing is cooked, which is why it's safe to eat straight out of the can.
The ingredients are pork with ham, salt, water, modified potato starch, sugar and sodium nitrite. The jelly on top forms from the pork while it's cooking in the sealed can. The potato starch soaks up the juices so the block holds together when you slice it, and the sodium nitrite keeps it pink and cured.

Proud of our @Vol_Football Defense and Special teams. They gave their all for Tennessee today! I wish Tim Banks the best with whatever he is doing now, but I am extremely happy to have Coach Knowles as our DC. Such an improvement!
Unfortunately, our offensive line never made it out of the locker room, which left Faizon and the rest of the offense playing 6 on 11 and running for their lives. Proud of the fight, but not the performance. The o-line has to get better, for Faizon to survive and us to have success in the SEC.
This SEC schedule waits for no one and it certainly doesn’t feel sorry for you! Shake it off and begin preparation for Auburn!
