This humanoid robot is learning parkour. 🤯🤖
Light Origins’ Lightbot 0 is using LightParkour, a single AI policy that allows the humanoid to walk, climb, step and perform parkour movements such as speed vaults and reverse vaults.
The impressive part: the robot uses an onboard depth camera and can decide when to switch between locomotion and whole-body skills without a runtime skill label or manually programmed switching.
Light Origins says the system can progressively expand from a 45 cm obstacle to references reaching 75 cm, equivalent to about 83% of the robot’s 90 cm standing height.
This is more than a cool parkour demo. It is a glimpse of robots learning how to use their entire body to interact with the environment.
How long until humanoid robots can navigate a real construction site like this?

Figure's humanoid robots are now operating autonomously around the company’s San Jose headquarters.
During a recent tour of the facility, robots were shown moving around the campus and performing tasks without human teleoperation.
Figure says its growing fleet can operate continuously, with robots managing tasks such as navigating the facility and returning to charging stations on their own.

LOOI isn’t coming out of nowhere.
Behind the robot is TangibleFuture, a robotics company backed by names from the AI, robotics and hardware ecosystem including @futurex_capital @XbotPark_SSL and @lovelive_SIF
The product has already gone through the hard part most “AI projects” never reach:
real hardware → real manufacturing → real customers → global distribution.
LOOI raised $518K+ from 3,578 Kickstarter backers, and more than 10,000 units had shipped by 2025.
It also isn’t just a remote-controlled gadget. LOOI combines a smartphone interface with multimodal AI, visual awareness, voice interaction, memory, personality and a biomimetic behavior system designed to make the robot respond to its environment.
