If you want the world to feel a bit "fuller," you can increase the ground density beyond the maximum allowed by the graphics settings with: /console groundEffectDensity 256 /console groundEffectFade 370 /console groundEffectDist 500 you can reset it back to 48, or to 0 if you don't enjoy the effect!

What’s funny about this debate is that nobody is really wrong. Some servers, especially on the Alliance side, referred to Deadmines as VC as far back as 2004 because the main objective was completing the quest to kill VanCleef. Horde players tended to call it DM for Deadmines since they didn’t have that quest, and over the years the two names blended together and got mixed across servers and communities. Anyway, here’s a screenshot from the Official World of Warcraft Guide that came out alongside the game in 2004!

Alright, so is Deadmines called VC or DM? We have to settle this once and for all.
