There's something hard for us, children of the colonised, to articulate because the world is upside down. Europe and its descendants, can't differentiate between principle and episode. This is why Germany (and much of Europe) is doomed to be genocidal. Here is what I mean. 🧵

This is 100% the kind of person who believes in the Soviet's version of "dialectical materialism"
I found a Soviet primer on dialectical materialism, and this was the note of a previous owner inside

Last year we noticed data showing enormous increases in gold exports from Africa to the UAE, particularly from countries adjacent to war zones in places like Congo & Sudan. Since then we've been flying around the world to follow the supply chain & crunching the numbers 🧵

I'm not sure why she keeps repeating this line that she is being accused of "being racist against myself" as if it's some sort of mic drop. She literally is being racist against herself and anyone else who looks like her, has her ethnic/immigrant background. To say you have to be white to be English is a totally racist statement. And this cop-out that she's British not English doesn't deal with Italy or France, where they don't have two identities. So is she saying brown and black people can't be French? If so, then what are brown and black people in France? Or Italy? The idea that the England football team captain can be Black but Braverman says he won't be considered English is both absurd and, yes, racist. And her being brown doesn't give her a pass or cover for her racism, it just means she's a self-hating racist.
You’ve called me racist this evening- albeit in a contorted way- but in doing so, you’ve lowered the tone of the debate with divisive and inflammatory language. And absurdly, you’re suggesting that I’m being racist against myself. It’s because of irresponsible language like yours that we in Reform need security. The left can keep smearing us as racist for challenging the cosy consensus on mass migration but we will not be bullied into silence.

Interesting that, all of a sudden the right are champions of epistemic standpoint theory and the idea that lived experience trumps the truth.
The central underpinning of progressivism is that disagreement with progressivism is a sign of moral failure. Therefore, a white progressive man is perfectly comfortable calling a brown woman "racist" in public for disagreeing with him with no sense of irony.

Suella Braverman on GMB this morning, yapping on excitedly about how she LOVES the British Empire, how her cousin comes over as an immigrant and how her family all benefited blah blah Kate Garraway quips "So you're PRO immigration?" Braverman laughs nervously "not today in 2026" This is what we call pulling up the drawbridge.

Of course you can be racist against yourself. It's called self-hatred. Very common actually. In your case though, it's called pandering to the far right vote. You wanna be one of the good ones.

Infuriating, but not surprising. A DOJ whistleblower has now confirmed what we said from day one: the "antisemitism" investigations into universities were predetermined, evidence-free, and political. And Columbia's trustees participated in this hoax. They paid $221 million, handed over records, and expelled students to close a deal built on nothing. David Greenwald led that board. Shame on him and on every trustee who went along to advance their Zionist ideology. If they have any dignity left, they resign. And there must be a full investigation into them and it will come. apnews.com/article/trump-har…

NATO's Rutte: Europe was not able to take out the nuclear capability of Iran. We couldn’t. We will have the capabilities in 10 years — we can, and we should. It should also be us taking care of the Houthis in the Red Sea, and not the Americans. Of course there are always ramifications, but the ramifications start from a premise that it is good that the Americans did this. And I am one believing that it was absolutely essential for the Americans to take on Iran.

Hi @jreynoldsMP, I’m an economist who's come round to rent controls! Here’s why 🧵: Markets only work well if: -buyers & sellers have roughly equal power -producers respond to price signals & expand supply in response to scarcity -buyers can walk away if prices get too high
.@AyoCaesar: "The one thing the govt could do to improve the lives of young people is introduce some rent controls" @jreynoldsMP: "No economist supports rent controls" There you have it. Are you a young person trapped paying exorbitant rent? The Labour govt says f**k you.

Jamaica has welcomed 43 nurses from Ghana as part of the health partnership between both countries. The nurses have expertise in areas such as emergency care, critical care, paediatrics, oncology, mental health and midwifery. They will be placed in public hospitals across Jamaica, including hospitals in the Western and South East regions and the University Hospital of the West Indies. The four-year agreement allows for up to 400 healthcare professionals from Ghana to support Jamaica’s health system. The partnership will also allow Jamaican and Ghanaian healthcare professionals to share knowledge and strengthen areas such as primary healthcare, health insurance and the management of chronic diseases.
