Those of us giving money to churches for the work of the ministry are not complaining. Some of us want to promote the work of God just like some of you promote alcohol companies by buying drinks every week or patronizing ashewo. Stop crying on our behalf.
If you can use your money to buy Igbooo, carry olosho and drink Gbonokai, you don't have the right to talk me down on giving to God.
You cannot teach me or suggest to me how best to serve God.

It’s laughable seeing all the comments under this tweet. This clearly shows that so many read to react/reply than understand.
I will rather borrow money to help someone pay fees or sort out an issue and even indebt myself. If I even have to empty my savings for that purpose I will do it. But I will never use my tithe for that purpose and I am not sorry about that!
The idea to use your tithe to give your neighbor to pay her children’s school fees is actually unrighteousness. A person who cannot respect his covenant with God cannot be trusted and is no person of integrity.
Your tithe/offerings are both sacrifices and vows. Those who worship idols are faithful with keeping theirs. Those who worship God must do the same.
If you want to show your humanity, put your reputation on the line and take a loan to pay those fees. Not your tithe
