I had a little pet project over the holidays, a self-watering system for my balcony garden, and after some proper over-engineering I ended up with a tiny library/module to access the gpio pins of a Raspberry pi via pigpiod. Thought I might share it here. github.com/mmalmsten/pigpio

Today, my colleague and I got the opportunity to borrow a school class for a day to teach them Erlang. It went far better than planned and in less than three hours, we had 25 students sending messages to each other by writing Erlang commands. #erlang #functionalprogramming
