It's time to write a new story.
If you'd told me a few years ago that I'd be selling wristwatches, I would've laughed.
This journey wasn't planned.
My grandfather sold watches. He passed the business to my dad, and after my dad passed away, life handed that responsibility to me.
Ironically, I barely spent time in his shop. I was usually helping my mum instead, so I knew very little about watches.
When I opened the shop, business was painfully slow. I was confused and honestly didn't know what to do.
Then I came online and built MAJGIG Watch & More—a name that combines my dad's nickname, "Maja," with mine, "15gig." I wanted his legacy to live on.
X changed everything. My old account grew to over 4,000 followers and 4.1 million impressions before I lost it.
That setback slowed me down, but it didn't stop me.
While I was away, I spent my time learning more about watches and the Nigerian watch market. I'm still learning, but now I'm back—with more knowledge, more purpose, and more consistency.
This time, I'm not just here to sell watches. I'm here to build a community.
Welcome to my new chapter.
