Btw, we are actually writing parts of the Open Privacy Suite in Rust. We might re-write most parts (except frontend) in it too. Because why shouldn't it be as performant as possible?

When you go into the rabbit hole of privacy, there is so much. Data privacy, metadata privacy (that is as important as data). And there is disaster recovery, there is always disaster recovery. Being composable is the only way to tame it.

Editing the product into a compressed message is the hardest. The Open Privacy Suite we did is really good. Pilots, deploys, happy customers. It is getting better. We paid a lot of attention to small details. When I present it I always have to force myself to skip these bits, even though I personally really enjoy that.

I installed the new iPadOS to my main iPad. Twenty-seven-dot-zero. Safari broken (sign in with Google doesn't redraw webpage until I change the window size). 3rd party apps lose input from keyboard and that requires restarting the app. Agentic coding made iPad useful again, but Apple's OS dot-zero release fixed that. Civilization progresses unevenly.

How do you build and test on Bitcoin? I am trying something on the testnet4. Blocks are ~20 minutes apart. Every now and then the miner comes that just mines empty blocks for hours and hours, ignoring the mempool.
